Whew HIM, that's nice to know. I guess that it's all just a matter of time. I like seeing people migrate from Gaia, especially if they add something good to our community. I don't think everything Gaia smells like poo, but at the same time I can't say I've heard much good about things going on there.

zero; xD thanks. o-o; i've heard of a lot of people banned unfairly. and if you got friends as mods. you get your account back pretty darn quick. while regular users spend months trying to get them back. :/

@Wish: It took a lot of time to do that xD. It's not that easy you know. Some huge drop in certain items helped. What was for 10mils is now for 5mils and so on. I've noticed, even with the new items, that they're starting to go low quality art for money. And really, increasing the working staff had that effect i believe o_o. It's cool sticking up to a group of friendly people.

sere; it's alright! i tend to miss many people too. but i felt so bad when i missed them that i'm trying extra hard to say hi to people so they don't feel left out. xD

cause i hate it when i get ignored or missed also. ;-;!!

Meh, I'm a Gaia immigrant; I've been on there since about '03, and it's definitely not the place it was, which makes me sad :'( That's not to say that there aren't some awesome people and things on there, it's just difficult to find them in all the troll-y murk.

Total, wish and others discussing Gaia - very spendy there, but some of the newer items drop dramatically after the first few days following a release. The amount and frequency of new releases can get a bit overwhelming.

Serendair - the number of stars you collect should be at the very top of the page right under your gold total.

haha. trust me. Its a LOOOOONG story. but its also the story of how I became a member of mene, so I guess its kinda relevant.

Essentially, shortened right down. My gfs profile was hacked by some lowlife creep. The mods did basically nothing to help us out. Now together we had spent over $1000 on gaia items over the course of the year. Thats a lot of money for a website we think, but we were under the impression that gaia was moderated fairly and quickly. And that the mods would try there best to help those in need. We were wrong.
After a while the mods stopped talking to us, and we were both banned for different reasons.
I was banned for being "associated with botted gold" from the previously hacked account that then went on the bot and make money. But because I had accepted trades from her BEFORE she was hacked, I was banned.
I dont know why they re banned her though. Probably some stupid reason that makes no sense.
The thing is, We know someone who botted for months, and still has an active non banned account. He is only using a page refresher, which is considered botting by gaia. But he hasnt been caught yet. Which just begs the question, Have how many others get away with this, and if so many do, what are the chances that you will buy something from the marketplace that was originally bought with botted gold?
Either way, The sites gone downhill.

@Elmira Swift: Yes, and sometimes the actual cash you spend isn't worth the item. Let's say you buy an item for 5$s and it is not that pricey in the market place? Disappointing. It wasn't a waste of time because i did make friends, but it's going from bad to worse. And really, even the 'make gold' methods there aren't that helpful with the amazingly unstable to be spent gold.

Hmm Zero, that just explains why they don't give you gold for surfing the pages here. I think forcing people to post though does help the forum to grow a bit.

I do wish that Mene got some more games added to the arcade. I'd like to see a word game in there.

@ZERO: Wow, the same thing happened to my friend a while ago. He was banned because he had a hacked item? that was in his inventory. He didn't even know what it was. I've sent a pm from my account to a mod about having problems with the trades. I want to send items from my account to my new main account. It's been three days and no one replied. o_o If they ban me i'm going to declare a revolution.
