Good thanks. A little confused about the events, but that`s how it always goes when you`re new to a site.

Ferra 08-07-2009 03:24 AM

@az_stars: Clicking the link is all you need to do right now. The real event will start in a few days. :)

Also, I deleted that extra post for you.

Thank you :D I was afraid I would get in trouble for my unintentional "spamming"... >_<
And thank you for clarifying that point for me.

Suona 08-07-2009 03:28 AM

@ Isato - Your siggy makes me laugh

@ stars - Well, welcome to Menewsha, for one. :)
You can earn gold rather quickly by posting around, but please do not double post or spam.
You can also play the games each day and earn up to 500 gold.

And the event hasn't completely started yet. I see you did it right, though, since your feast banner is below your name. :) For now we are just kind of hanging out and getting to know each other before the event starts on the 8th.

Ferra 08-07-2009 03:30 AM

@az_stars: Mistakes happen. :) My computer glitches sometimes so I'll accidentally make a double-post. If it ever happens again, just click the report button (this one: http://images.menewsha.com/forum/buttons/report.gif) and a moderator will delete it for you.

jelly_bean 08-07-2009 03:32 AM

Ferra 08-07-2009 03:39 AM

@jelly_bean: Glad to hear it! :D

@Isato: I asked a friend and she said the picture is from Nurse Witch Komugi. :) (She seems to know anything anime related. XD)

Masala Chai (Spiced Black Tea)
600 ml of water
2.5 cm cinnamon stick
8 cardamom pods
8 cloves
175 ml milk
2 T sugar or to taste
1 T any unperfumed, loose black tea

Put the water in a pan. Add the cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves and bring to a boil. Cover, turn heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the milk and sugar and bring to a simmer again. Throw in the tea leaves, cover the pan and turn off heat.

After two minutes, strain the tea into 2 cups and serve immediately.
Just a little Indian tea recipe i thought i would share. :) I made it once, it is acually pretty good if you can get the ingredients (try a health food store or Indian grocery store).

CK 08-07-2009 03:44 AM

Mmmmm! A recipe for chai! @[email protected]

I'll have trouble getting hold of some of those ingredients, but I want to try it. XD

Rui-kun 08-07-2009 03:46 AM

@cashuea: That sounds good, I`m gonna have to see if I can`t find the stuff to make that.

Iro 08-07-2009 03:46 AM

I'd put in a recipe for peanut butter and chocolate brownies, but I do not want to make myself hungrier than I already am. T_T;

Suona 08-07-2009 03:47 AM

@ Isato - lol I do that sometimes
I'll see something funny and just save it because I like it, but later have no idea what its from.

kurobizzle 08-07-2009 03:47 AM

@Isato & Ferra: Yeah, I've seen that anime! It's hilarious, you should go watch it sometime. A bit perverted though, but still a good watch.

cashuea 08-07-2009 03:47 AM

How did everyone get the flashy tag things under their avatar? I did not see anything on the first or second page :?

Oh, cool. Thanks. I think everyone has a friend like that. Sometimes, you are that friend. D:

Hmm, I'd post a recipe, but i don't know any by heart.

Sevens 08-07-2009 03:49 AM

Aaaaah, all these recipes are awesome. Now if only I had the ingredients, haha.

Go to the front page of the site. Go to the Celes Paradi announcement. And it has a link that says "Sign Up" (I believe) on there. Click that and click the icon of the group that you want to join. :)

cashuea 08-07-2009 03:52 AM

I think i will share one more Indian recipe.

Quote:

Fried Plaice Fillets (Tali hui macchi)

700 g plaice fillets with dark skin removed
3/4 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 T very finely chopped, fresh green coriander (parsley may be substituted)
2 large eggs
4 teaspoons water
175 g fresh breadcrumbs
vegetable oil for shallow-frying (enough to have 1 cm in frying pan)

Cut the fish fillets, crosswise and at a slight diagonal, into 2 cm wide strips. Lay the strips on a plate and sprinkle both sides with the salt, pepper, cumin, turmeric, cayenne, and fresh coriander. Pat down the spices. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Break the eggs into a deep plate. Add 4 teaspoons water and beat lightly. Spread the breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip the fish in the egg and then in the crumbs to coat evenly.

Put about 1 cm oil in a large frying pan and set over a medium heat. When hot, put in as many pieces of fish as the pan will hold easily. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden-brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Fry all the fish strips this way and serve hot.
I have not made this one yet, but it does sound pretty good. Maybe one day i will.
Oh and these are just recipes i found a long time ago on the internet and was lying around in a word file  Alas, i am no recipe genius.

Ah under announcements. Silly me, i am such a newbie. Thank you <3

Winterwolfgoddess 08-07-2009 03:55 AM

Yay for the Goddess of Feast Supporters. ^^

I would put in a recipe, but I really do not want to go grab the family cook book. x.x It is in the very top cabinet in the kitchen that I have to get a stool to reach. xD
Maybe tomorrow though, when I actually have it down. <3 I want to make icebox cake. <3

Rui-kun 08-07-2009 03:56 AM

I wanna post a recipe, but that means having to dig one up. Hopefully I can find one to put up later.

CK 08-07-2009 03:57 AM

@ cashuea - Another nice sounding one. :o I'm a little too nauseated to be hungry, but it sounds like it'd be good. :3

Also, just letting you know you accidentally double-posted. I merged them for you, but be careful in the future. :)

Ferra 08-07-2009 03:57 AM

@cashuea: Just to let you know, double-posting (that's making a post right after you just posted) is against the rules since it promotes spam. :) I'll merge your posts together, but in the future try to edit your posts to add more information.

I can be tricky at first, but you get used to it eventually. ^^

EDIT: D'oh, CK beat me! XD
