Quote:
Clergymen are all descendants of Jonah, the original bad luck passenger..
Jonah was a biblical prophet who tried to flee from his holy mission by sailing to Iberia. A storm overtook the vessel, and the sailors were forced to throw Jonah overboard in order to save the ship. 'Jonah' now comes to mean any bad luck passenger or crewman. Anyone suspected of being a Jonah was put ashore at the first port of call (if they were lucky).

Victoria was actually the first one that came to mind, but I went the other way. Darn me. XD
Of course, now that I think about it, Elizabeth I never actually got married so it was quite the poor guess.

Minuxe: Nope. She was known as the virgin queen.
It was really quite a historical moment for women. Because she never got married, she ruled Britain, whereas if she had gotten married, her husband would have been the ruler.
