It's the biggest satellite (in proportion to it's parent planet) in our solar system.

Okay. Other stars are important too. Without them we would know nothing about the universe.
Without them, not only would our star not exist. But even if somehow our star did, we wouldn't, because the stars that came before ours helped create ours and the complicated metals that make up our star, planet and our human bodies. In that universe our star would be huge and would only life a billion years at the most.
