I don't think Japanese people really bother enforcing the legal drinking and smoking age with the foreigners. They were serving us 15 year olds beer without carding us, and the age there is 20. :O We thought it was so cool!

I have a feeling that when I turn 21, I'll turn into an alcoholic. :XD

@Izumi: lol yeah part of that is because in Japan they look younger xD so if you are 15 they'd probably be surprised to hear that. Hmm yeah my sister was 16-17 when we were in Japan and a street vendor just handed her a big drink of beer, without a second thought. My dad ended up having most of it but she didn't bother to hold herself back. ^^" But then.. this is also the country where they have alcohol in vending machines. But their honor system is so high that they wouldn't even think about buying some underage. For one, they'd get kicked out of school which is highly important to them~ : O

I can only add to the chorus about the not drinking too much. For me, just don't like feeling out of control. Getting close to your birthday?

Well, in my younger days I drank quite a bit. Mostly rum or gin.

Now I hardly drink at all. I decided I don't like the feeling of being drunk.

I may have a Kahluha or a glass of wine now and then, but that's all.

On my birthday, I do plan to drink. My stepmother and I will be going to Las Vegas to celebrate. Mind you, my stepmother is 24, so taking my stepmother isn't as bad as it may sound, haha.

I have only been truly drunk ONCE, only once. Other times it was just a slight buzz.

I think what's funny is when people THINK their drunk off their arse, but they're just being stupid is all. My sister Michelle seems to do that often.
