Aye. My girlfriend and I peacefully separated last night.
Since her fathers death, she has been conflicted between myself and her family. And when her family met me and told her that I am no good to her, the real struggle began. She didn't want to separate, but she knew that her family wouldn't accept me. SO to save much potential pain, we decided that it was for the best. Though I never loved a woman as deeply as I love her, I shall remember the fondest memories for my lifetime. EDIT: Though it was peaceful, I still feel as though my heart has shattered into sand. I did nothing wrong, yet I was punished for their ignorance. |

Mind you, it wasn't her family as a whole. It was only two key members of her family. Her godfather and her mother. They told her that she could do better in terms of a man. And from their perspectives, I can understand. I made a lot of mistakes and follies.
But they should have also considered the love part of the relationship. Though we lacked in some points, we excelled in others. And love was deep as the oceans between Mackenzie and I. And because the separation was peaceful doesn't mean that it was painless. I ache so desperately to hold her and comfort her pains. I crave to sooth her tears and sadness. She didn't want to separate, but it was her only choice. |
@Gothic: Oh I see. It's so tough to please people who have set principles on what sort of man they want.
The love part is certainly very important because through love you can work on all your shortcomings. Aw, I hope you find a way to get over this great loss. |

I have hope, and an abundance of it, but in the past, hope has gotten me institutionalized and made me miss some rather important classes involving tests.

Well...I can't say that a lack of medication has put me in a bad position so...I can't say much Gothic.
And yes, that search feature would be awesome! On Gaia I usually use the marketplace for store items because it'll say which store sells it. That and there are so many that it's not hard to figure out where it is. But 22 pages+ in some stores is a bit much to flip through if you don't know how much something costs. |

@Korrye: I can't even remember the last time I bought something from the actual shops on Gaia. I always buy everything on the marketplace. xD Oh ya the shops here have tons of pages and when you are looking for something you have to pay attention to each and every item to make sure you don't miss it!
