For a little bit.

Thulhu 08-13-2009 02:13 AM

Hai! anything new or interesting happen today while i was at work?

captainsavvy 08-13-2009 02:14 AM

bye guys :)
it's 3:15am so i'd better go to bed

Thulhu 08-13-2009 02:16 AM

yikes! get to sleep young lady!

.Jazzed 08-13-2009 02:18 AM

I'm being such a thread killer today :gonk:
My incongruous statements meet boffs of blank stares and extended periods of the internets equivalent to awkward silences.
-tries for a big giggly smile- he he he :D (:insane:?)

...Does that help?

Thulhu 08-13-2009 02:19 AM

I does seem like it's a bit slower today.
Maybe it's today's item?
It's nice but so delicate it's hard to see unless you're wearing it over dark blue jeans

.Jazzed 08-13-2009 02:29 AM

 Thulhu, you're so right. It's all the items fault.

-sends angsty blame to item- >.> it'll survive...

Jeannesha 08-13-2009 02:45 AM

Sorry, Jazzed, but I wasn't ignoring you.
I just poofed for an hour or so.

.Jazzed 08-13-2009 03:01 AM

Awe =3
That's okay!
I made use of the time to shower and stuff.
I should be in bed, but I'm finishing up some stuff first. >>

Jeannesha 08-13-2009 03:29 AM

I need a shower desperately.

I was in the casino last night, and my hair still smells all smokey.
Yuck!

Dystopia 08-13-2009 03:30 AM

D: Is that what a casino smells like? Eww.

Jeannesha 08-13-2009 03:38 AM

Casinos are the last place on earth where smoking is allowed, I think.
And boy can you tell.

It's really bad to be sitting next to a smoker.

AkashaHeartilly 08-13-2009 04:51 AM

It all depends on the Casino.
In Vegas and most Indian Casino's, I never had a problem with them. But Neveda you can still smoke in doors almost all places.

Sally Sinema 08-13-2009 04:56 AM

Hello, how is everyone's evening going?

Ah, just got back from Vegas, the only place that was really a problem smoking wise was the old strip, it was pretty rank.

AkashaHeartilly 08-13-2009 05:06 AM

The old strip can be pretty bad, but it's been years since I was there, been wanting to go visit for a while.

I'm doing ok, went at looked at a tiny apartment, looking at some other places online right now, got to wait till my roommate is home about figuring out when to go see them.

Sally Sinema 08-13-2009 05:13 AM

Oh, apartment hunting can be fun and stressful. I went looking for one in Seattle and a broom closet there costs more than my 2 story 2 bedroom townhouse in AZ. I was pretty sad about that.

AkashaHeartilly 08-13-2009 05:22 AM

Well, it is stressful, but for some reason, I'm not stressing as bad as my roommate. But I tend to not be as stressed out as she is, so it makes since.

I live in San Francisco, which the broom closet in Seattle would be a steal compared to the price of brook closets here.

Sally Sinema 08-13-2009 05:25 AM

Oh, I can imagine. Though living in San Fran must be awesome.

AkashaHeartilly 08-13-2009 05:40 AM

It's amazing but comes with it's drawbacks.
Minimum wage is pretty high but it's only barely enough to get buy, there is plenty to do in the city, but when not making a lot, it's just plenty your missing out on. In many ways it's nice living in one of the most liberal cities.

Sally Sinema 08-13-2009 05:47 AM

Yeah I live in a redneck state unfortunately. I know my art would do well there but couldn't make enough as an artist to pay the bills. Here my art does poorly, the subject isn't appreciated by a lot of the conservative folks here.

AkashaHeartilly 08-13-2009 05:59 AM

Well, all depends on what and where, and how you are trying to live too.
I mean, if your a white artist type, can survive in the Tenderloin without to much issue, or live in the East Bay.

What kind fo art is it?

Sally Sinema 08-13-2009 06:03 AM

I'm a girl who paints girls, and sometimes anti-religious stuff. I have a little of my more pg work in the art forum.

AkashaHeartilly 08-13-2009 06:22 AM

Awesome.
Well, could probably find some sort of rgular job here and get stuff sold at a gallery, which is common. And like said, trying living in the East Bay and selling over in SF, which isn't a bad way to do things.

Sally Sinema 08-13-2009 06:27 AM

I'll have to check the east bay area then.
It was nice talking to you akasha, but I have to crash. Have a great night and good luck with the apartment finding ;)

AkashaHeartilly 08-13-2009 06:31 AM

Nighty night and thanks!
Need all the luck i can get.

Also, I don't know what parts in the East Bay are good and bad. I know generally Richmond isn't, unless you looking in the Richmond district of SF.
