As long as you were in the northern hemisphere, you should have been able to see it at night. At least, from the things I read. It was still at it's later peak last night as well, but I didn't go out last night to watch. You maybe could even try tonight. It would of course be much less than when it's at it's peak, but it's one of those things that actually lasts for several days, possibly a week or so, just much more active on certain days.
