I love the rules here, and the fact that they're actually enforced. I die a little inside every time I see spamming and begging and...argh! *tears hair out at the thought* Nice to have a place where that doesn't happen so often...and when it does it's dealt with swiftly. |D

I must say the spamming phishing crap on gaia has got to stop, but I fear it impossible for gaia is over run...
plus the whole you can have as many accounts as you want thing must make it really easy to get away with stuff..

Hey I'm with you, I hate spam! I get to get rid of the spamming and other junk on here...I like the fact that our staff team works so hard to keep that stuff off the site. It makes it so much more fun to "read" what people say rather than to read a bunch of numbers and the same letter over and over!

I've always found bump threads rather pointless. ...There's really not much of a point to them besides just getting gold. I like that gold seems to be a secondary thing, and conversation is a first. ^^

I would simultaneously love and hate being able to get rid of the spam and other such crap. I mean, it'd be fun to just be able to just nuke it - buh-bye! - but it'd really get on my nerves to be exposed to near all of Mene's...dark side. XD;;

But yes...it's fun to have a place where you can actually have a stimulating, engaging conversation instead of just 200 pages of "OMGOMG I R N00 G33V M3 G0LDZ PL0X L0L0L0L0L!!11!1"

Ech, those streaks are still neon orange under there - not rinsing it out yet. My hair is resilient enough a single hot oil treatment will fix any damage. e__e;

I have also been hacked on gaia... someone from my friends list was hacked and during that time they sent a message with a link and something that should be on the site and the site looked just like the home page saying I had been logged out so I logged back and nothing happened I went to the home page logged in and I was naked and poor... then a bit later they put in that whole YOU ARE LEAVING GAIA thing... and it took them a year to get me my stuff back

Ugh, ouch. *hugs* That's just awful. >___<; And this was before the warning? That was...at least early 2005, right? It STILL took them that long?

With my friend's friend..she HAS the culprit by the (possibly nonexistent) balls; the trade records are right there and still visible. I'm oping they do something...fairly soon...at the very least, this decade...

Considering that this decade will be ending soon, though., that's not very likely.
