@Birdie: I found that learning piano made things easier, but...not everything. Didn't help me much with guitar, I have to say. Makes learning music theory easier, but...truth is, that stuff is pretty useless when you're composing from what you feel.
I've found this true from experience and also been told this by someone with far MORE experience than me. And I have no idea how I survived meeting this person...good geez he scares me. o__o;;; But I love him to death. XD *ahem* @Windy: Flute? I tried learning the flute when I was in elementary school...that kinda failed. My music teacher hated me (actually everyone in that elementary school hated me e_e) and my hands were too small to get the fingering down. XD Now that I'm primarily a vocalist, I suppose trying again would be...more of a hobby thing than anything, but I'd still like to because I hate to lose. I don't want to admit that my flute beat me. >__>; |
