yeah... missing school is... missed notes that you can photocopy from friend. and possible missed hw that you can do later.

missed work is... you have to do what you missed (the whole thing)... AND clean up any possible messes that were done during your absence. T_T

@miyu - This is true, this is true. Homework is pretty darn easy to make up. xD Except for the occasional class where being there is kind of important.

i think homework can be difficult to make up if the homework was time consuming
in school i've always managed to have teachers that give a lot of homework LOL
but then again my school is made up of 12 period ( which is 9 classes in total) for one day

@colours - Yeah I have some teachers who give a lot of time consuming work as well. =3=;; I appreciate the ones who give quick, meaningful work. Busy work drives me insane.

and homework is just supposed to be review work/practice when the student is at home you know?
giving too much work also can discourage some students :(
i always did it even though it took a long time to do since it's an easy grade but .. ya D:

@colours - *sighs* Another annoying thing is when the homework is the new material and the teacher reviews it. That just makes no sense. I do homework for my grades to be good, but I don't think it's all that necessary.

I can learn really easily from written sources or online. But I just feel it defeats the purpose of their job. If I was going to learn on my own, I would just learn on my own.

This is true. Super complicated stuff can sometimes be taught better by a person. But I just learn better when I get to choose my pace. =/
