As for you artwork, it's beautiful! I love the colours. (excuse my Canadian spelling :P)
I actually like the texture as it is, especially with the transparency of the pants. It looks very stylized and the simple shapes/block of colours make the artwork very balanced. Maybe just a little suggestion of the fabirc's creases/folds?
On the other hand, I understand that it can seem a little bit plain, so maybe adding some texture-maybe flower patterns or something like that?- at the dark purple ares would look good- but preserving the transparency of the pants. And adding details on the gold, accentuating the shine + saturation of the orange-yellow colours it would really stand out.
You could draw the image of a flower, copy+paste to make a pattern and then crop to fit in to the areas you want them :3

I'm definitely going to keep the pants translucent/transparent, I just want to add more details to the clothing/fabric. I know I want the top to have some deep folds in it or pleats or something, and I might try some slight patterns on the top darker part of the pants. I haven't really worked on the gold bracelets yet, but I think that will be really fun to do. :3 I actually found some arabic/indian/henna patterns online so I might copy some of those onto the design.

I fed the star eater 100 stars yesterday. XDDDD. It took FOREVER to do but I was like "GIVE ME MY BONUS ITEM DAMMIT." In the end, it wasn't enough. DX

@Colorful : Whoa, 100 stars? I've only fed about...10-ish? XD I should go contribute some more. From what I heard, if every user donated 5 stars its supposed to be enough. But I guess we should account for the people who doesn't choose to donate.
As for your art, I don't know what program you are using but if you art using photoshop, you could use the "textures" tool to mix in slight texture over the CG. :3

Ooo that's awesome! It's so funny, I used to learn violin, flute and piano too. But I broke three violins so far by dropping them (XD) and I lost my $400 flute from Korea in the library 3 months after I got it. I'm a true instrument destroyer. (all the money...my mom wanted to kill me) The only reason I play the piano is because it's hard to destroy :D hehehe

Ughhh. I know I erased the eyes and reshaded the face to cover up the things I didn't want, and then I added ponytail details and long side bang things... ): And then some of the textures but I did that kind of weird and I dunno if I can recreate it. Damn. ):

I also painted the shirt and the bottle in, but not details, just basic stuff and now it's gone. T^T

I have the smaller version I uploaded to use as guidelines, but it's not going to be the same, you know?

ughff. i am sooo tired. i didn't get home until 2:30am last night, and had to get up before 7. ;__; i did nap this morning, but it's not the same or enough.

awww, poor you :( I had about 3 hours of sleep too, but I stayed home mostly so I'm not feeling that tired.
