My internet has been down pretty much all week because we had some massive flooding at my house. Lightning struck a tree in my yard and all that jazz... Not fun. T_ T

that sounds pretty bad. I hate storms like that.

The lightning thing was sooo scary. The tree it hit was only yards from my house. It was the loudest thing I've EVER heard. It happened in the middle of the night and everything... >.<

I've only once heard lightning strike a tree close to me. We were outside in the rain unfortunatly! It was so scary!!!

Eeep! That's definitely scary... I used to like big thunderstorms but now I'm not quite so sure... T_ T

Scariest thing that happened to me was being electrocuted by a fence after it got struck by lightning...I was only 10 at the time at my friend's ranch. X3

Oh, that's weird. I think I've only been zapped once but it was a very insignificant one so it just felt really weird... ^^;

Yeah, it didn't really hurt, it just made my body ache. I think I actually liked it. >.>; But it might have just been that weird kid thing. Shoulda read the do not touch electric fence sign. =___=;

Hm, that is pretty odd but as kids I guess we're all kinda weird, and totally unaware of things like... Important signs and that kind of junk. LOL

hm, interesting stories. A friend of mine had her arm temperarily paralized by some electrical pole thingie.

I still love thunderstorms. I just don't really love to be out in them! ^^

And yeah, it's always a good idea not to be hanging around outside when a thunderstorm hits. I liked watching the lighting and stuff but now I think I'll be just a bit more wary about it. I don't mind at all if I'm in a car though, I always heard that that was the safest place to be during an electrical storm. ^^;
