Really? Where are you going to basic? I went to Fort Jackson. I would suggest the following:

1. Do everything the drill sergeants tell you to do. If others tell you to do something different from the drill sergeant, listen to the drill sergeant...
2. Don't stand out. Unless it's excelling physically or doing well at shooting.
3. Always stay motivated. Never give up! You'll make it through as long as you focus.
4. Write home often. Mail time was our most favorite time ever! We had to do push ups or sit ups for them, but they were fun.
5. People are going to yell at you. People are going to smoke you by making you work out till you sweat and want to cry. Just do your best. It's a mind game. Just know that they can't hit you. Block out all the negative words and yelling and just try at everything.

Basic training was fun when you think about it as an after thought. While you're there, you'll wonder why on earth you raised your hand and signed those papers. xD

IM going to texas, i forget the name of the area thow XD (where all the air force goes XD)

@disturbed66: I think you're going to Lackland AFB in San Antonio. I was going to join the Air Force, but the Army offered to pay off more of my student loans. ._.;

I went to Advanced Individual Training in Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio. xD It was funny because when we went to the field, we ran into the Air Force basic trainees. It was quite awkward for some reason. 8D But here at my first duty station, Korea, it's an every day thing to see Marines and the Air Force. xD

Peng: Yeah, it's a pretty simple program to learn, I just haven't worked at figuring out more than I need at any given time. So I make fun little faceless arts...because I really love the brush pen, but don't have the skill to do eyes with it.
