It's sad that Disney is turning on the very style of animation that made them a famous force in the entertainment world. From Mickey Mouse to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs...Disney made beautiful products from the old fashioned way. They are cutting corners now for the mere draw of monetary profit. I think they need to go back to their roots and really focus on a well done product.

I agree Vixen. I've heard they are currently making a new Disney Princess movie "The Frog Princess" that features the first African American princess of the Disney family. I've seen a few screen shots and a trailer...I'm not impressed at all even though it is the more traditional style animation. It's just not Disney Princess quality work from what I can see.

I agree, I was watching this youtube thing and this person showed that Disney was just reusing clips and editing/tracing them. Like when Belle is walking on that hill singing after Gaston attempted to propose to her, they reused it in the newer Cinderella movie but edited/traced.

@Tomoe: That, to me shows laziness. Disney spent years perfecting Snow White and the other original films. Look at the unbridled quality of the movies they had in comparison to now. They are going for quantity not quality and it really is a shame.

It really does, I mean Disney has such promise but they are just ruining it for themselves. The old movies were such better quality, though I have to admit I never really liked Snow White but the other old classics like Bambi and that I did.

Aww Bambi was amazing! And I loved "The Fox & The Hound" too even though that one isn't ALL that old. It was a great one! So very cute!

Fox and Hound was my childhood favorite, as well as Oliver and Company. But Bambi was amazing, the idea and execution of the story was really touching.

I'm so very tired but I just can't seem to sleep tonight! heehee
