I just don't want to have to interpret paragraphs of descriptions and such.
I feel like I don't get the character right most of the time and the person's reaction is usually not desirable if they're a stickler about how their character looks.

You can also say stuff like "the sleeves should be more loose" "the hair should be longer, but generally like this" -- modifications. :3

by "refs are fine" I mean avatar + refs is fine. I don't like just getting refs because there are so many different styles and I can't really tell if I should be drawing their face elongated like that... or make the hair woosh that way. With an avatar as a base and then refs to see modifications, it's a lot more open and, at the same time, a lot more specific for me.
You could go ahead and post your OC if you like. I'm not afraid of complex stuff (usually >>).

i'm not exactly sure how the hair "works", so I'd probably need a photo or photos of the type of style you're aiming for.

Haha well here, in a nutshell, this is Seika:

Everyone draws her bangs differently. that's the only thing that differs from ref to ref. :P Haha, I don't mind really since I never really give a proper description of her bangs sometimes (I just say she's got a hair cut). They're suppose to look more like Konzen from Saiyuki Gaiden. [x]

As far as outfits go, you can put her in anything *is not a firm believer of character has 1 outfit and one outfit only* If nothing comes to mind, t-shirt and jeans work fine. xD (For a Snow Princess, Seika is very down to earth) xD

hehehe. yeah. i just kinda let the artist interpret it how they see it most of the time. so it comes out a bit different each time. but the most correct hair i suppose would be the second link and the second to the end link. :3 would you still need more clarification if i just said refer to those two links for the hair? XD
