 Ooh, I just thought of something! What if someone wanted to build their own character to dress up as for the convention? It wouldn't be cosplay then, would it, even if they looked anime-ish?

GrannyJ 08-16-2009 01:10 PM

I believe that now it's less than 4 hours left!

Symphony of the Night 08-16-2009 01:12 PM

Yes, I believe that is the case.

Time for that last-minute star-earning!

V I X E N 08-16-2009 01:16 PM

Ahhh. so many pages missed =(
damn multi tasking

Zilithandria Moonlight 08-16-2009 01:21 PM

 Well, at least I have one of all seven EIs now, so if I earn enough stars I can get even more.

What Are You Wearing Right Now?
:insane: There's even a weird "outfit" mentioned in the first post. It involves nail polish... :insane:

V I X E N 08-16-2009 01:29 PM

YAY
you will get there.
you have enough time if you post like crazy hehehe

Zilithandria Moonlight 08-16-2009 01:31 PM

Lol, yes, thanks. :insane:

V I X E N 08-16-2009 01:40 PM

im going for my next set right now
hopefully will be able to get them hehe

salvete 08-16-2009 01:44 PM

You still have a little more than three hours. ;D

Urboros 08-16-2009 01:44 PM

eh I joined yesterday due to a late vacation on my part, the place was very rustic so no internet... :(
However I've already got the sash and the hair, going to skip the cornucopia, and maybe on of the harps.
I'm working on the star crest right now.

salvete 08-16-2009 01:45 PM

Good luck, Urboros! I hope you manage to obtain all of the items you want.

:]

Zilithandria Moonlight 08-16-2009 01:48 PM

BOO-YAH!! <<Sorry, just being random for Star Pieces.

Urboros 08-16-2009 01:48 PM

eh I hope so too, though I could just trade last years items for the ones I'm missing.

V I X E N 08-16-2009 01:52 PM

earlier someone was actually doing that
but i think they were looking for complete sets

Urboros 08-16-2009 01:57 PM

meh sets, I'm trying to cut down my need to "have" everything. Its very expensive <.<;;

Zilithandria Moonlight 08-16-2009 02:04 PM

Heh, maybe people should get payed for wanting everything. It certainly is a chore, anyway, to want everything and not get it. :XD

Whoa. I'm new here and I have no idea how this event works. Do I join a team or something? D:
AND HOW ABOUT STAAR PIEECEES? D:

salvete 08-16-2009 02:08 PM

Hello, .Cain, and welcome. :]

You can choose a patron goddess via this link:

http://www.menewsha.com/celes/join/

Then, use the 'Perform' action under avatars in the forums to earn stars. You can also 'Petition' each goddess for stars here:

http://www.menewsha.com/celes/overvi...?show=petition

V I X E N 08-16-2009 02:15 PM

@Uruboros-hahaha yeah. it does get a little pricey.
but these items are FREEE lol
& i just realized what your name is haha
you a big Res evil fan ahy?
number 5 im assuming?

Zilithandria Moonlight 08-16-2009 02:17 PM

The items technically aren't free... free would require not spending time to earn them, or even having to earn them... but I still love them anyway. Actually, it makes me happier to be earning them this way, than how I imagined myself feeling in my imagination when I imagined what it would be like if they were completely free. Lol. Which is probably the point of earning them, huh? To feel good about earning them. :XD

V I X E N 08-16-2009 02:23 PM

hahah.
well if they were completely free, then they would be worthless
earing them is much more satisfying in my eyes hehe
as you said =)

Zilithandria Moonlight 08-16-2009 02:27 PM

Yeah, it gives me something to do.... too bad I was getting mad at Mom and apparently I was yelling at her for not giving computer time and taking off the computer time in the account I WAS using. I still think the only reason she doesn't care is because she's not participating in the event! But anyhoo... whatever... lol... :|

Well I do feel bad about treating Mom that way, but I'm not much of one for sorry's. With any problem at all, afterwards, or even while it's happening, I'd rather just let it go and get on with life like it never happened, because it's done and over with and this way the situation isn't dragging out, without having to say "sorry" just because it's polite... but apparently Mom and Sis aren't like that. :?

I mean, isn't "sorry" supposed to be for when someone did something that was really, really wrong? If we just keep using it for every little thing, then we trivialize the meaning of the word, right?

If I'm wrong about something, I'll say so. Doesn't that kind of do the job that saying "sorry" is supposed to do? Why should I repeat myself twice? That just gets annoying. And it's like for me with everyone. Why should they have to repeat theirself twice? If they admitted they're wrong, then fine. They showed they knew there was a problem and were bothered by it. If I admitted I'm wrong, then fine. I showed I knew there was a problem and was bothered by it. So what is the REAL reason for saying "sorry" again and again afterwards!? :?:

V I X E N 08-16-2009 02:35 PM

hahah.. righto
well im lucky enough to have my own computer in my room
So i dont have to worry bout other people & sharing.
had to do that for ages.
So i bought my own lol.

Yeah... i dont like saying sorry. Makes me feel weak & like i have been the one to cave,
makes me feel so pathetic.. Even when i was the person in the right.,
i tend to just apologizes to clear the air...
damn shame im the one who always has to do it though
but i get where your coming from

GrannyJ 08-16-2009 02:40 PM

Many people will want to purchase complete sets, but a few extra items are all right to have also.

V I X E N 08-16-2009 02:48 PM

indeed.
i wonder how much they will go for in a few months lol
