@Min: Well I know when I get my V-Day pin, I'll need everything red because I will NOT be taking that thing off, practically, EVER. XD There's not much red stuff up for grabs though . . . I think I got it all.

@Min: I don't have a problem with blue and purple normally, but it's sort of hard to match with red -- especially red and blue; it sort of makes you look too patriotic. x_x;
I do have a nice red / brown outfit picked out for when I do get that pin, though. :D Granted, most of the items otherwise are commons (except the Lovelipop, which is another task to achieve in itself), and I'm not great at giving up money right now, especially when I'm saving up for higher rares. x_X; |
I'm happy with the colors, but that's because I'm purple-obsessive. I've been purple-needy for a while, so I'm glad I can get stuff for free. Questing for an Oriental Fan doesn't allow me much financial freedom.
One thing I really like about the event is the eye make-up. I thought it was too much at first but some of these are really pretty~ |

Well it really sucks that the 50% shop thread is gone now because that helped a lot. O ya I really understand that because any gold you spend means you are farther away from the pop! @Platinum: O ya I also really like the color purple although I only have my sash of chaos to match with it so I don't know if I will make a purple outfit for sure. @Platinum: I know what you mean about the Fan. I was lucky enough to actually my Fan / Pudao set from the Quest Raffle. Juru is a god-send. And I do love the eye makeup, only I'm concerned if it conflicts with different eyebrow styles. The eyeshadows on display are all with the normal eyebrow, and I frankly prefer the angry one on my avatar. xD @Min: I know! The 50% shop was so amazing. I was so busy questing for everything else, I never got to buy anything. D: The good news is no one in the exchange sells all their commons for full price, so you just need to keep your eyes peeled to see if anyone has the common you want. :3 But yeah, I've been really good about saving my gold. x_x; I think I'm saving for the boa at this point in time granted it's the most expensive. I lucked out on this past GB Auction because the bids got up to 40k, and I'm well under that. D: Still, maybe I'll find someone eventually to sell it to me. x_x; |

@Platinum: The fan is VERY versatile. It's got so many different colors on it if you look hard enough at it that you could use it with practically any neutral or red or gold outfit.

@Platinum: I'm terrible at being patient. Take a lesson from me. I started out with a goal of seventeen rares back in early January of this year. I only have eight left. Really, that's more like seven left since I'm working on commissions for my V-Day pin. So, 10 items achieved! No one said it would be easy, though. I plan on being on the quester's train this time next year, too, since inflation is horrible. D:

I have to keep myself from buying commons (which I just did a few minutes ago, to finish this avi). It's hard~ A lot of the items are cheap, but if you buy a lot, you realize it puts a big hole in your pocket. gah. |

@Platinum: I've definitely learned not to be reliant on commons . . . not YET at least. I'm more dazzled by the rares than I am any common that can come my way. I put a hole in my pocket token wise when I splurged on the event commons a few days ago, though. XD |

@Min: Aww, I thought you were active in your own quest thread! Well, if you ever need to get active in talking there, you can always stop by my thread. I don't really have anyone to talk to, but I keep my questing progress up to date. Recently I've been talking about how the commissions are going for the pin. Pretty boring without anyone to talk to. xD
The boa is the most expensive as of now, and I like to get the more expensive items before the lower priced items. And yeah, I really will need at least 80k pure in order to buy it off of someone, at this rate. D: But that price will have probably gone up another 40k or so by the time I actually get to 80k. T_T A lose-lose situation. |
