probably >.<' is she on mene?
no, I doubt she even knows what mene is.
then maybe you can ask for help from her... i would ask knerd...
I think the helping thing has to do with giving away answers and multiple users winning when they are not doing it with their own work |
maybe I should ask knerd. I mean I've got most of it....there is just like 4-5 lietters I cant figure out.
Can you figure out the words? I know I can't figure out a single thing...
their placement definately has me stumped. I think if I could ask on the one letter everything else would fall into place.
yeah >.<' i have no clue on any these.. it will take me some brain power to figure them out!
I wonder if my mother is any good at cryptograms.....she'd prolly look at me weird though lols.
I am reading this website to help me to solve them... I wonder if they have a theme or if it is mene related cause it could absolutely be anything.. >.>'
Knerd got a really twisted mind sometimes so who knows.
Ooooh can I see the website? |
Meh, it might, I'll take a look through it.
I've taken a break to do the ones I KNOW I can do...like the polygrams and Boggle. |
I turned in all of the puzzles I was able to do last night. I gave up on a number of them unfortunately. V_V
I don't understand how to do those >.>'
The polygrams or boggle? I can help explain it if you'd like since those were two of the puzzles I was actually able to do.
both of them!
haha.. that reminds me i am sooo close to finishing the easy word search... |
Basically polygrams have to use that letter in the middle, but you can use any combo of the outside letters.
---------- Post added 05-26-2012 at 02:41 PM ---------- Boggle creates words with letters that are somehow connected. |
so if their is an ei in the middle you could make the word like weight assuming there is an wgh on the outside... does it matter what order the letters on the outside are?
Okay, so for the polygons, there are the letters in the middle and the ones along the outside. To make words, you HAVE to use the letter in the middle somewhere in the word and you use the other letters on the outside to do so. You can only use each letter once though and the word has to be four letters long or more.
So for example say the middle letter is "oa" and along the outside you have "b, t, g, d, s, r". You could make the words "boat" and "goad", "toad" etc. But not "toast" because you can only use each letter once. The middle letter doesn't have to be in the middle of the word though so you could also make "oars", etc. Does that help at all? |
Yeppers that helps! thanks sooo much :)
The order of the outside letters doesn't matter as long as they are their. But the inside letters HAVE to be in the exact order they are in.
As for boggle, you have to chain the letters. You start with one square and you chain it in any direction (up, down, diagonal, across...) but you can only use each letter once. Here's an example":
deap atpq motn So you could start with the e, go down and across to use the a, and then to the right to make "eat". Or start at the bottom with m, go up to a, right to t, and up to e to make "mate". You can use the letters over and over to make multiple words, but you can only use each letter once in a word and then have to connect somehow. |
Its quite fun once you get the hang of it.
That's a good point Cora. I liked Boggle better than the polygons myself.
I prefere polygons, but I like both xP
