As always, a Woady after my own heart.

I got a colouring book the other day (it's my meditative therapy. A long running family tradition, my half sister got her adult friends into it as well ) of vintage Arthurian illustrations. It included a nice maying scene as well.
The Legend of King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table Coloring Book
I love their stuff

Yesss! 10 points to Biggles!

<.< Now there are House Points in this thread?! >.>
That coloring book looks amazing! And I do love coloring! It's very nice not to have to think about what you are drawing sometimes!

And yes! Welcome Professor! You seem like quality peoples! I just wore some woven wool dreads in my hair that I made yesterday at a Ren Faire :D :D

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 12:49 AM

Why thank you n.n

That's awesome. I've never made the wool ones before, but I have a couple friends that have a pair of them. I make cyberlox with the tubing and such. And I make synthetic hair falls.

Like these:

Attention guys! Check out the first page! I updated the Page Prize post!HERE!!!

Nice! Those are nice and bright! I would wear em!

I make them by felting the wool roving, trying to match my hair color. Here are some brown and pinkish ones:

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 01:08 AM

Sweet!

Yeah I was going for something really eye catching for a rave I'm going to. The outfit I'm wanting to wear is of the same color. I'm pretty excited. I wasn't able to make them as fast as I'd wanted before with the method of sealing them that I was using, but now I've bought a fabric steamer and that seals the dreads so well as long as they're backcombed properly.

I usually wear them with a bandanna or hair band covering my real hair, a fringe of a similar color under it to create bangs, and some type of goggles or cat ears or something with a elastic band to hold my bandanna in place. The fringe has clips so that usually stays in pretty well despite my moving around and dancing.

The only time I'll have my hair color showing is when I'm already wearing dreads with black in them, or if I use a dread kit and braid them into my hair.

Bonerface.

I feel like I don't know anyone on this site anymore. :gonk:

Seito 05-21-2012 01:13 AM

*rolls through the thread*

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 01:26 AM

Well I don't know many people at all. So we're kinda in the same boat?

a little bit?

Johnny Hobo 05-21-2012 01:27 AM

Yes, I believe we are c:

I didn't know a lot of these people I'm seeing post existed and it makes me feel all weird :v

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 01:32 AM

Yeah. I admit at first I did feel weird posting because I didn't know anyone and from previous experience, if you're a newb, you get treated badly, but I was pleasantly surprised here.

:D You play IMVU? I ask because I recognize the ears your avi is wearing in your siggy because I've devved them before. n.n

Johnny Hobo 05-21-2012 01:37 AM

Indeed I do.

I love playing dress up :D

Even if it costs money, there's a lot of variety on there.

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 01:38 AM

I know~ I've spent a lot of money on there myself n.n;; I'm addicted.

But I just love the amount of clothing they offer. It's so much easier to mix and match and just get lost in the shop making outfits for a while because you can just go through such a massive inventory.

Johnny Hobo 05-21-2012 01:42 AM

I try not to spend a bunch there, because I know It'd become an addiction xD;

Feel free to add me there, I'm TerribleD

Also tell me your username if you do add me, since I'm too lazy to clear out all my current random requests x-x

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 01:45 AM

My screenname is the same there as it is here~
I'd be happy to add ya~

---------- Post added 05-20-2012 at 09:47 PM ----------

Done~ n.n

Johnny Hobo 05-21-2012 01:48 AM

And accepted ;D

Yay more friends~

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 01:55 AM

Yep yep!

I have spent a lot but a lot of that also was spent on putting items in my shop~

Woodlandnymph 05-21-2012 01:57 AM

Seito! Roll back in here!! ;)

Nice Professor (I need to call you that and not Sin or Sinister. Way cooler. I even want to call you 'The Professor.') I don't wear them for anything like that. Mostly for faery-ish dress up, since I love having forest-y outfits. <3 But, I should rock them out.

And awwww Donal is making fraaaaands! ;) You stick around long enough in the event and you will chill with a lot of the people you know :P

And also, man, I haven't talked to you in a whiiiiile D. Lame. I miss your face!

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 01:59 AM

n.n I don't mind any nicknames. Usually people call me Sin, or even Sinny.

Just as long as you don't call me something stupid like...

Snoogums.

Woodlandnymph 05-21-2012 02:02 AM

Totally sticking with Professor. ;)

How long have you been on Mene then? And I agree, people kinda just glomp on you and welcome like crazy here. We do love our newbies.

Jeannesha 05-21-2012 02:09 AM

Hey Snoogums!

That's a great name. Why don't you like it?

Woodlandnymph 05-21-2012 02:11 AM

Sounds like a disease of the gums.

Symptoms of snoogums include bleeding and soreness.

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 02:14 AM

Nuuuu!!! First the questionable muffins and now the snoogums!!

lol it does sound like a disease. "Oh you know that Johnny boy down the way? He caught the snoogums. Poor guy."

Woodlandnymph 05-21-2012 02:17 AM

Haha. I wish all diseases had names like that. I think it would take an edge off the harsh blow of contracting one.

Names like fluffititious or kittenpox.

:D But, everyone likes muffins!

ProfessorSinister 05-21-2012 02:19 AM

lol~

"Sir, I'm sorry to say, but you have contracted the kittenpox."
"Aw how adorable!"
"You have a month to live."
"FRIGGEN KITTENS!"

Woodlandnymph 05-21-2012 02:24 AM

XD Yessss! Just like that.

'Mr. Johnson, I don't think you are taking your diagnosis seriously enough.'

'Soooo,do I get the kittens now or when I get home?!'

Which reminds me of this:

Jeannesha 05-21-2012 02:25 AM

lol...

But that's why they use such awful names for diseases...
To make them sinister!
