If I ever got into watching sports again it probably would be hockey.

'Rubs eyes' how exactly can one stand watching sports??

Damia Flagg 05-19-2012 06:52 PM

With the house I grew up in you had to learn to at least tolerate some sports or you would go completely insane.
My Dad always watched Atlanta Braves Baseball, some ACC basketball games, wrestling & Racing, mostly Nascar stuff.
At least we did get a break from sports during football season, he never did care for football.

I think most people watch hockey for the violence. :XD

hummy 05-19-2012 06:57 PM

i'm a baseball and hockey fan.
.....not just for the violence.
:P
i love the scoring!
BLAST OF THE GOAL HORN!

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 06:58 PM

The only sport like thing in our house was restling and that was more my sisters then anyone else. my mother watched Xena. and charmed and us kids various cartoons..

Damia Flagg 05-19-2012 07:10 PM

The only sport I don't think I could ever watch is golf. That is the most boring game I have ever seen.
I would like to watch a real rugby game sometime in person.

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 07:17 PM

I like Movies and tv shows.. im into the Hogan's Hero's 'nods' and waiting for a friend to come back so we can rp 'nods'

Damia Flagg 05-19-2012 07:23 PM

I don't really watch television unless we are visiting relatives.
Mostly we watch television shows after they come out on dvd.
The last thing I was watching was Naruto.

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 07:26 PM

Naruto.. interesting.. hehe.. This tv show is fun haha.

ran off to take a nap be right back..

keres corvax 05-19-2012 07:34 PM

I haven't watched normal television for like a couple of years. mostly I watch stuff on the internet.

Damia Flagg 05-19-2012 07:58 PM

I don't think I have watched regular programming on television since Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel went off the air. I just don't really care much about television anymore.

keres corvax 05-19-2012 08:17 PM

ah I know right, like I think i stopped watching regular television as a whole right a round the same time. hundreds of channels of the same thing still equaling nothing good to watch.. at least for when I was awake. Plus when bill needed to be cut down, cable television was the first thing to go in our house hold.

We don't even have television here in the entirely different house hold now.

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 09:02 PM

huh thread died not htat it was really living mind

keres corvax 05-19-2012 09:06 PM

Yeah i got caught up there at them top threads o.o
But i like to push ones that fall to the bottom to the top as well.

I have very little activity going on in my thread as well.

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 09:31 PM

yeah keeping threads alive is a pain.. its why i ten dto try and focus on mine 'nods' just to keep my thread active is a pain in the bum..

hummy 05-19-2012 10:56 PM

i post up and down the forums.

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 10:59 PM

that's gotta be alotta work.. sorry rpign with a friend and sometimes i get distracted 'shrugs'

keres corvax 05-19-2012 11:32 PM

Hey I'm back, sorry I popped out without saying much. I had to do some grocery shopping.

@star2000shadow yeah I can understand that. I may be old here, but because I was really inactivate for a super long time, I'm not too well known around here, so I don't really expect my thread to last too long. it didn't last very long at the last event. so I posted up and down the boards like Hummy.

and It's not actually that bad going up and down them. When the threads get super active, what I do is I have one page to keep the forum up, and then I just open each thread in a new tab so that I can reply and then go on to the next topic to post in. Then I just refresh my first page that I was grabbing the threads from.

@hummy I am the same way, and I also try to help the threads that keep getting stuck at the bottom.

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 11:36 PM

ahh well i tend to just focus on a few threads.. unles they all go inactive for some reaosn then i post in them all and start over 'shrugs'

keres corvax 05-19-2012 11:43 PM

yeah, I do have a habit of sticking to few that I got good conversations going on in. But I do try to make it a point to help peoples threads out that aren't doing well. :) because I always appreciate it when people do it fir me X3

star2000shadow 05-19-2012 11:48 PM

ugg.. acid reflex.. stinks.. dealing with burnign in my chest 'sigh' yeah its nice helping out other's threads.. not to mention you get more tokens for doing so haha.
