I've never really gotten to play 3.5 I hear it's a lot more diverse and faster. Sadly my only experience was an online game on gaia and it's well very slow...though I'm playing a Killoren Wu Jen and I love all the things you can do but post by is like barely playing T.T
4.0 seems to work a little better with it's streamlined approch online...
I need to meet more people in real life that play D&D >.<

I don't like 4.0 because it makes things too easy for the players. I DMed a campaign and it was ridiculous the things I had to do to make things a challenge. I don't try to kill players but sometimes you need a challenge. 3.5 seemed to make things more even and I like that.

Yeah playing in a rl group is sooo much more fun especially if it's a good group. I have a group I've been playing with for years but we move around some times. When we all are together we play and it rocks!

I like fighters. Anything that can go in there and just beat the living crap out of stuff. My best character was a dwarf fighter. She kicked a$$! I suck at magic characters. Though lately I've done more DMing than playing.

MEH to bad you don't live by me! I would LOVE that kinda group and I don't really know where to go to meet new players. My first group (maybe six months ago) was nice but the girlfirend of the dm was there but didn't really want to play and then wouldn't let him play anymore T.T so I went to the gaming store where they have some tournaments and stuff... though I don't really know how to very well, just to meet other players... but they were just like... *stare*

I think 4.0 might be good for me to learn on being it is so much easier >.< get used to the mechanics. Though I wish they would have kept that take 10.

Yeah being a girl and going into a gaming store can be interesting. The one here and in the last place I lived both were shocked I was a gamer. I went to buy a players handbook and they asked me if I knew what I was buying, LOL.

I love to DM. . I was scared at first but its fun to create. I made a new world, make monsters and even items and races. I had players who had read and memorized like every book so I created stuff to surprise them XP
