Didn't have turkey, we had venison, "swiss steak" style.

Hey deer is GOOD meat.. you season it right and you just can't go wrong. my mum likes the heart best.

yeah it doesn't hold as much fat as cow meat does.. it just harder to season or well harder on the taste buds. I think its cause we've lived in the country so much im used to the oddest t ypes of food. nwo Chocolate covered GRASSHOPPER there's.. well not gross but something to be uncertian you wanna eat.

If I were to give you a few plates:

one with deer and cow
one with lobster and cockroach
one with alligator and chicken

you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if I didn't tell you.

Alligator tastes like peppery chicken, deer and cow are similar, and a guy who loved lobster was once given cooked farm raised cockroach meat and didn't know it wasn't lobster. You eat with your eyes but the living animal isn't running across your plate. When it's sliced and in sauce you're really not going to know otherwise. And it's delicious.
