I just love Christmas.

Oh I can cook, I just couldn't cook when I was little, so everyone expects to taste trash.

Whitewolf: Ah yes, I see what you mean. In that sense, yes, I agree with you. There aren't any children left in my family though so none of us really have to worry about that and there or so many people doing the cooking it's not too big a deal. :)

I get the peace and tranquility of the season and I'm 30.

What's not fair?

Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas too. I love the looks on the faces of the kids as they open presents, I love being with people I love, and I love the spirit.

But when I haven't had a true Christmas in 11 years, its tough to get excited about it anymore.

the mass amount of LEGos I got helpped alot, more nastalgic, but it is happy.

I always get excited about Christmas. Especially this year with my brother coming to visit. He left last year for Florida the day after Christmas and I was so excited that he was able to come home.

Legos are awesome! But, I never got them, they said girls should play with dolls, not blocks.. But I always decided to play with them anyway, I got in trouble for stealing them away, but I made the best towers. ;P

yeah, LEGOs and money for later helps alot for christmas, also less stress other than I am now boyfriendless makes it a good Christmas.

Legos are fun. I loved them though I wasn't good at them.

Lego's are definetly a aprt of christmas. 'happy sigh' I could make the niftyiest houses.. and castles and walls..

yeah, old toys are nice to get again, cause otehrwise all I'd get was money so nothign fun for christmas day.

Legos babysit the children for ya. :D

@Aaeza: Aw, you didn't get legos because someone wouldn't let you have them?! That is on the cruel side.
I only had 1 tub of normal sized lego blocks and 1 tub of the big lego blocks to play with. I would usually play with lego's at my cousins house because they had TONS.

I had a hard time manipulating them as I have always had poor fine motor skills.
