It would be, but there really isn't anywhere near me to do so. It also makes it harder to get a deal, since I have to accept on faith what is presented for me online.

I'd like to find something closer to home, but.... Best I could find was a second hand shop selling a mattress, and it was the wrong size.

I'm in Kansas. 'Big City' is sort of a matter of perspective. I'm close to a couple of medium sized areas, but there still isn't much in the way of places to get beds or mattresses without paying an arm and a leg. And getting it home. :XD

I found a nice memory foam mattress on walmart's website that looks affordable yet luxurious. That's my number once choice at the moment. Although I may wait to drive into town and check a particular place there.

Part of my problem with driving right now is my car is on a donut, which isn't good to take on the highway, OR icy roads. So I'd have to borrow someone else's car/truck and arranging that has been a pain so far.

Memory foam is great, my mom uses a memory foam pillow and I love lying on it!
