Also most think that I am crazy and not capable of being a mother. I have three boys and they are healthy and well cared for. Having a mental illness does not neccisarily mean you can not be a good parent.
And I do not qualify for SSI even though I have it documented that I should not work out side of the home since I get stressed and can have an episode when in the public workplace. Yet a girl I know who is ADHD and perfectly functioning without medication gets a check every month, food stamps as well as medicad because of her hyperactive dissorder.
Thats a bit off in my opinion.
I also am bi-polar, slight dissasociative disorder, borderline personality and acute episodes of paranoia.

Ah, I see. So, do you think if awareness was raised by the government, and your condition was explained properly, that people would take you more seriously?
I am sorry to hear that though, and I don't want to seem insensitive. Sorry if I am.
