You have to really know the person deep enough to get a present they really want and love.

well when I was a kid, it use to be a surprise. Now days, none of my family don't like going back to the mall to do all the returning and more shopping, so usually if you ask for it, you get it.

Maybe when you is a kid, no one bother to ask you and expect the kid to be very happy with any gifts they got? XD
