This year was like a roller coaster for me, but when you think about it, 2009 was one of the most eventful. (Obama's inauguration, countless celebrities passing away, and the recession to name a few).
This year had its ups and downs but you know, I'm actually looking forward to a brand new year, regardless if I have to go through those ups and downs again.
A new year just feels like a fresh start for me - to change for the better, ya know?

2009 was a pretty awesome year for me with a full year of study abroad. Sure, there were a few ups and downs, but, in general, everything was pretty awesome. The only thing that makes me sad is how many friends I've had to say "goodbye" to. I met some wonderfully, amazing people and it's so hard to realize that I'll no longer be seeing them all the time!

This year, I'll be back on my home campus to finish up my junior year of college. It's going to be one busy semester what with my 13 hours of classes, 12 hours of internship, and 9 hours of work study. But I'm excited for it!

My daughter will be graduating high school in 2010 so, it's bittersweet for me. One down, one to go but, my baby will be gone soon. I hope to get a full time job this year and be able to end the misery that is my life, that's every year though.

I'm looking forward to getting completely smashed on New Years Eve. But I'm already missing being twenty-one (I turned twenty-two on the sixteenth). Twenty-one just seems so much younger... I'm too young to be feeling old!

I'm hoping for a better year. 2009 was the year I moved out and into my first apt with my fiance. The troubles of finding a job for him continue now, leaving me stressed out of my mind and a bad relationship with my brother that was never great; my mom is stressed from having to pay her own bills and try to help us survive.

It's been...challenging and though we love every minute spent in out apt and together we both hope that next year will be better. I did better in my classes this past semester and head towards the hardest yet with 17 units to take. at the rate things have been going with myself and classes it seems i won't be graduating in Spring like I thought, though I can hope for summer or fall.

I just want a better year where it's easy and things are good and we don't have to worry about money for a while..that's all I want from the new year, to not be so stressed and depressed.

I'm not looking forward to anything particular this coming year, although I am hoping to do well in school and to not gain tons of weight, in fact I would like to get into shape even more then the past year.

Well on the sixth is my fifth anniversary with my fiance so we're looking forward to that. I'm also starting a pilates class which is exciting. Since I got injured six years ago my ability to be physically active has been slim so I'm so happy to be able to do something again! I'm also going to be starting my midwifery training!
