I've never heard of half of these....then again, it may be because I'm Jewish. xD

I was going to say that one at first as well or the gift of the magi, but then I heard someone say that their favorite was A Christmas Carol and I just changed my mind and decided that one was the best. I had forgotten about it.

Oh, I read the gift of the magi, Yay, now I'm not totally left out. xD

there was a song on the radio for awhile called, "Christmas Shoes" and I hear they made a movie off of it. Basically about a little boy whos mother had been sick for some time. When his dad said this would be her last Christmas, he went to the store with all his coins and picked out a pair of pretty shoes for her. He didn't have enough money, but the man behind him helped him out. One of the lines in the song was "I want her to look beautiful, if mommy meets Jesus tonight." All my girlfriends are crying by the end of the song. It is a story in and of itself :) Teaches what is truly imporant.

my favorite has to be "The Night Before Christmas" its a classic! and its not all commercail Christmasy

My mom cries everytime she hears that song....and it comes on the radio ALOT during Christmastime.

The name of the book Neller remembers is The Mitten: A Ukrainian Folktale by Jan Brett. I've never read it but I'm going to, that's why I looked up the name of the book.

I also like the Christmas Carol.

Any of the storys about scrooge >.> why because im turning into a scrooge... i have had bad christmas's for a while now but this years was the worst so yea i cant really say i like any of the mostly cheerful stories =/
