Not to sound boring and old (cuz I'm not) but I love the Home Alone movies :) My uncles always turned them on when I was little and I can't imagine no one ever seeing them :)

Ananas à Pois 12-25-2009 02:56 AM

LOL, I'm watching "A Christmas Story" right now. TBS is showing it for twenty-four hours straight. I LOVE IT. xP

I've also watched "A Christmas Carol", of course. And I've seen so many weird ones my grandmother's been watching on Lifetime. Lol, so I've gotten my fill of Christmas movies.

As for music, I've only listened to a few songs, thank goodness. I'm not terribly fond of Christmas music. Especially not for three months straight. xwx;

@Ananas- Really? *turns on TV*

Mageling 12-25-2009 03:20 AM

I like Nightmare Before Christmas, The Santa Clause, and the Discovery Channel specials.

MoodyBats 12-25-2009 03:23 AM

with my mom we watched Christmas with the Kranks and this random one where this one girls mom is getting married to someone she just met i have no clue what it was called but its a good movie

akinmytua 12-25-2009 03:36 AM

I have seen the Jack Frost one! It is soooo cool! How many people love Rankin/Bass Christmas specials? ex: A year without a Santa Claus, Rudolph. Santa Claus is coming to town, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty and Crystal, etc.

I also like that one Jack Frost movie where he is a dad who dies and comes back as a snowman.

I tend to watch these on VHS, but I haven't watched any this year... that might be because I've seen them so many times that I can recite the lines with the characters...

A Christmas Story. xD
And that's about all i'll watch.
I'm always so busy around this time.
So I don't get much time to sit and watch tv. xD

Okay I don't like Christmas starting right after Halloween, I like fall too much to miss it. But I do like the weekend after Thanksgiving for there to be Christmas things going on, maybe a little music on the radio, a couple decorations at the store and such.

But movies and all that early only annoy me as well.

I do like all the different versions of a Christmas Carol.

La Tua Cantante 12-27-2009 12:02 AM

Me and my sister use to love the Garfield Christmas special when we were kids, so this year we pulled it up on youtube to watch, then I found it at Walmart and bought it for her for CHristmas so we can watch it better next year! lol

I watched alot of the Christmas specials on Cartoon Network this year, like Chowder, Scooby Doo and such. And of course the ones on Adult Swim. I love the Metalocalpyse one X3

I remember that Garfield holiday special, La Tua Cantante. (If i'm thinking of the same one you're referring to.) I used to watch it every year when they'd show it on CBS. I remember my mom almost teared up one year when Garfield was sitting on the grandma's lap and she was talking about missing her husband during Christmas time.

I'd like to see that again sometime. Maybe i'll look it up. ;D

I felt there was a lack of x-mas movies on tv this year. There was no frosty or rudolph etc.

Readera 12-27-2009 02:05 AM

I tend to watch the older stuff. Santa Cluase 1 and 2, still haven't caught 3. Nightmare before Christmas, and the Year without a Santa Clause.

Alfanzo 12-27-2009 09:06 AM

I will never fail to catch Rudolph when it plays ever year! XP
It's my favorite movie for Christmas...

Robard 12-27-2009 09:17 AM

Not so much since I've been at school, but I used to enjoy watching "Olive, the Other Reindeer" with my mom.

shadowfoot 12-27-2009 09:34 AM

I haven't really watched much TV this season. I probably will try to catch White Christmas though, as it is my favorite Christmas movie.

Akstar 12-27-2009 03:37 PM

I didn't really catch many actual Christmas themed specials, though on youtube I found the one thing I randomly watched from like eight years ago and it got done about the same time that I first watched it which was about midnight. It a collection of short stories being told through a grandma to her three grand children. Some stories are really related to the holiday while others are just winter themed. To give you an idea of what these are some of the stories are "Lester the Tie","Victor the Tree", and "The Killer Snow Flake"

I just take advantage of non Christmas related shows having marathons to catch up on things.

Neko Neko Kitty 12-28-2009 12:51 AM

I hate how early Christmas stuff starts, but what I hate more are the Christmas in July specials since that's when I finally get all the Christmas carols out of my head. But I get in the mood for it about a week before. Every year I watch A Christmas Story, I just love that one!

Janus Shirato 12-28-2009 12:53 AM

What is your favorite Xmas Special?

There is a lot of Cartoons/Shows involes the Christmas Sprirt. I was wondering what is your favorite Xmas Special?

Mine's is Rudough, Red-nose Reindeer.

Jarlina 12-28-2009 12:56 AM

I had so many as I was growing up. I still really like the grinch cartoon and the old Peanuts special. Gotta love that little twiggy tree that Charlie Brown picked out.
