Least favourite holiday song.
 

Let it snow. It is the most overplayed christmas song in winter-themed movies. Then they play it in the malls everywhere. Even here in Central America! They play the fuckin english "Let it snow" and it drives me insane!

Well, in my college spanish class we sang 'Roudolph the red-nosed reigndeer' like sixteen times in espanol. Arg D:

It just annoys me so much when I hear it.

I always hear that song in deparment stores. Seriously, no matter where I go. It's playing somewhere.

I'm not very fond of Silent Night or Jingle Bell. ^^; Most of the slow ones aren't my thing either.

My least favourite christmas snow is "Santa Claus is coming to town". It's just plain annoying because it's everywhere.

I've actually grown to hate the christmas shoes song. It was sweet the first fifty times... but after that I began to wish that the lady would just die so the song would end.

I hate that Last Christmas Song as well, I've never liked it.

I have actually only heard Santa Claus is Coming to Town once this year... didn't bug me, just made me want to see a Rankin/Bass movie

I like the Carol of the Bells, both versions. My favorite version has to be the Tras-Siberian Orchestra version.

I haven't heard that two front teeth song this year...

I am dying to hear jingle bells in French, or one of the other novelty editions(Rusty Chevrolet, Jingle Bombs, etc.) I am really sick of the normal version...

I don't know about let it snow... It is getting annoying, but I had fun explaining it to a younger cousin this year. Maybe that made it less repetitive?

I hate the thousands of covers of Christmas songs. It's like no one has the creativity to think up new ones anymore...

So far the only Christmas song I really hate is this weird "Hippopotamus for Christmas" song. It's like.. some old 1940's song or something from the sound of it. The whole thing kind of reminds me of a bratty Shirley Temple. The voice is just.. Ergh. It grates on your nerves after the third time it plays in an hour.

And I've SERIOUSLY never heard this song before this year. I didn't even know it existed. I think it must be some old favorite of the people here that run the radio station around here. I have no clue.

But I guess there's another that runs a close second. It's this song that parodies the Twelve Days of Christmas, but it's about beer and stupid shit.

My least favorite is probably "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." It's loud and annoying, and it always makes me think of Home Alone, which for me is not a cherished holiday movie.

I've also discovered I don't like "Baby, It's Cold Outside," but I haven't harbored the dislike for nearly so long. Anyway, it's... creepy.

I don't mind a lot of Christmas song but I can't stand hearing the songs where the Chimpmunks sing. My mom plays this tape with them in it every year :angry:

But I do know that "It's Cold Outside" is a terrible song! I mean really, has anyone listened to the lyrics? Spiking drinks? Holding her captive? Sounds like... well, not good.

I hear too many, I work in a department store in the evening shift, when there are few people there, so it's been awfully quiet at night. So the songs seem so loud! And they only have about 20 or so different songs, so they just play over and over.

AAAAH I totally forgot that one!
I'd like to retract my earlier statement and say that Rockin' around the Christmas Tree is by far the worst song EVER.

I dunno, Pinkii, "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" is pretty sick. XD (Then again, I can't hate it because for some reason I remember singing it in elementary school.)
