Itunes card- What to buy??
Hey! I'm about to go on a long trip, and I want to buy some new music. Suggestions????
Lately i've really liked listening to Adam Lambert, anything similar to him maybe? |
Try some Captain Jack. :) That is what I did with some of my iTunes Cards. :) But I didn't get one this Christmas. lol

I'd reccommend Innerpartysystem. They're rather unknown and they have some songs similar to the more techno-y club-y songs on Adam's album. :D I hope I was helpful. |

I got two iTunes cards this Christmas. I've been trying to decide what to buy too. Although I already used one up buying the season 3 Doctor Who soundtrack and Owl City's album Ocean's Eyes.
I've never listened to Adam Lambert though so I don't really know what to suggest, but some artists I really enjoy are Nightwish, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Keane, Mika, Within Temptation, and Evanescence. |
You may like Owl City. Rainbow Veins and Vanilla Twilight are my favorite from him.

Owl City is pretty amazing. But maybe I'm biased, I did buy all of his albums :angel:
Tik Tok by Ke$ha and Replay by Iyaz are some good pop songs. But if you're looking for someting different anything by Kill Hannah is awesome <33 |
I got an Itunes card for Christmas too, I'm kinda hanging on to it as well until I decide what I want.
Maybe when you get on Itunes you can use that suggestions thingie. I forget what it is called, where Itunes makes suggestions based on what you like :3 |

I'm such a nerd. I planned out what to get. I got very nerdy music.
1. Chartjackers single, "I've got nothing" It's a really great song, and all the procedes go to charity. You can find it on Youtube if you want to listen to it first. 2. All Caps - a nerdy band with two different songs about zombies! 3. Lauren fairweather's 2 albums. I watch her on youtube (devilishlypure) and I love her stuff. This actually leaves me with about 9 buck in itunes money, but everything is $10. |

I've had a iTunes Giftcard for awhile, but I couldn't use it because I didn't have a computer to save music on. I just finished using it one some pretty neat shit. I got some Emilie Autumn songs, like Best Safety lies in fear, Dead is the New Alive Manipulator Remix, and What if Celtic Mix. I got Still Doll and Skip Turn Step by Kanon Wakeshima, three Kimberly Freeman songs(Sleep, Overdose and Jeremie.), Fireflies by Owl City, and some Cinema Bizzare songs like Deeper & Deeper, I came to Party feat Space Cowboy, My Obsession and Lovesongs (they kill me). I also bought Nemo by Nightwish.

Pretty much what others have said... but try to take relaxing or inoffensive songs... believe me you do NOT want to be annoyed on a long trip =\ I'd say, listen to a few bands & decide what you like, not just what sounds similar to other artists. I'm not sure what Adam sounds like but I'll tell you what I like to listen to:

Electric Six. they are different and if you have to choose which of their albums to get go for Fire or Senor Smoke, their bests in both my opinion and their drummer's. (I've had that conversation with him)

I don't know who Adam Lambert is, so I'm just going to suggest my favorite band - Within Temptation is ALWAYS worth a look at. Sharon den Adel (the lead singer) is absolutely amazing. Her voice is breathtaking.

There's some good french folk-y music by Yves Lambert... but I don't think that's what you want.
Look up some movies or movie music. Pirates of the Carribean music have some good bits. |
