The people who take their time and carefully take the paper off are worse, I want to see your reaction or the gift if I don't know what it is, get it done already!
The people who are really, super careful bug me the most. My mother used to force me to do that so the paper could be reused for things like book covers and such, so now I just can't put up with it. That paper needs to come off, and it needs to come off now! :XD

Those who, after waiting an entire month for their gifts, take careful precaution to take the paper off without damaging it
Ugh, I always hate it when people try to take the paper off perfectly. I mean, the point of wrapping them in the first place is so that you can eagerly tear into them like a hungry pack of hyenas! And no matter what they say, they are not going to save it and reuse it for next year. I mean, I love using remnants when I wrap presents, but I never save from one year and reuse the next. It just...doesn't seem to fit with the spirit. I actually used duck tape once so that a particularly meticulous friend of mine would have to rip the paper in order to open her present. >D

hmm i have to say im a bit of of both but the ones the take their sweet time opening the presents are the worst

Its just paper...rip it off and then recycle it! |
the people take the paper off cautiosly are way more annoying! my great-grandmother used make everyone do that so she could re-use the paper, JUST BUY SOME PAPER. D:
Wow, I don't know. I think if someone took their time trying to unwrap the present nicely I would be more annoyed because who exactly is keeping that paper? I'm definitely not. Sometimes I try to unwrap presents nicely, but I never just rip the paper off. I usually kind of rip one side off and shake the present out. I also never just toss the paper wherever. I'm the one that tries to keep all the paper in a neat pile. Haha. :P
Ugghhh, the ones who go slowly. I didn't buy them the paper, I bought them the gift inside. The paper is just something I grabbed from the dollar store because I forget to get the better stuff at walmart. Just open the gift and get it over with, plleaassseee.
It bugs the crap out of me when people SLOWLY take apart the wrapping paper, my favorite part about opening gifts was ripping into that beautiful paper, feeling it crunch and wrinkle under my hands as i pulled it off the package to reveal the wondrous present awaiting inside. Oh it was magical.
Hmm, neither one really bothers me all that much, but I think I'd have to go with the ones who take a really long time. I don't spend that much time wrapping and I don't do a good job, so I'm not offended when people rip the paper off. Actually, I'm kind of relieved-- then they can't see the horrible job I did anymore.
It depends on the age, too. I think it's really fun to watch little kids get really excited and tear off paper in a hurry to get to the inside. That's the part that maters anyway. |
I hate the careful ones. Because most of our gifts are easily ripped open. Those people are the type to put complex bows and ribbons on presents.
id say the first people who dont care about the time sppent on wrapping presents so they decide to rip them open just too receive the present
Favorite decoration: soda can Christmas tree.
I haven't had a christmas tree SINCE FOREVER....and i do celebrate christmas! but i don't know why...i think its because my family didn't but i did...and i went with their ways....idk
I don't think either of them are bad. I see both good and bad in them both.. But not one is worse than the other.
When i see people tearing into their gifts it makes me think hey are in a hurry to get their gift so they must be greedy. When I see people opening slowly and carefully I see they aren't excited about the gift I spent horus trying to pick out so they must not like it. But then again there is the good side too. :P |
IDK Christmas is Christmas...didn't get any presents...yet any who...I think it's interesting how people act like children around Halloween and Christmas...that and New Years...weirdos JK
I find decorations annoying and cluttery. Especially when people clutter their hallways with little figurines. Uggh.
Hmm, I'm gonna have to say the slow unwrappers. No matter how long it took me, I feel like the person is more excited if they attack and shred it than if they just sort of unfold it.
animatronic reeindeers?? where have you seen those!? O.O scary!
The people who take their time. Especially if any of my family wrapped it. Seriously.. we wrap horribly. XD Though it is funny when Derrick is over and he takes his time because of his facial expressions, and he's always like, "WHAT LOVELY WRAPPING! O: I shall take my time! I don't want to ruin this lovely wrapping we have going on here. OH NOES, IT RIPPED! Whatever will I do now?" Or some nonsense like that. It always has my mother and father rolling on the floor with their forty-something year old selves. XD
I don't mind either, but I'm one of those who try not to rip the paper. I don't like throwing things away when you can use it again. It's a waste, but for those who rip it off, I don't think badly of them, they're just excited. =]
I feel like ripping up the person who rips open my presents. Hahah, JK... but it's annoying when you put in work and someone destroys it. I can open presents carefully but quickly though, so I shouldn't judge XD
It doesn't matter to me how other people open their gifts. I generally am the type who doesn't like to rip the paper. I blame the OCD. xD |
I'm the type to try and open presents without damaging the wrapping too much, but that's because I like to save them -packrat-, and sometimes people write their holiday messages directly on the wrapping paper ( Even the simple To: & From: , but it still matters to me! >o< ).
8D; For the people who rip open their presents, I think it depends on their attitude/expression? Like, most of the time, I can tell that they're doing it because they're excited, so I don't mind that I spent time on wrapping it. XD The presents are all wrapped to be unwrapped anyway, haha~ |
