Buckeyes. They are peanutbutter balls covered in chocolate. Also I have to go with pumpkin pie.

I love chocolate *is average* but candy cane's cool too... I guess other than that I like Christmas pudding & duck.

Our local creamery has holiday flavored ice creams, and only during winter do they have peppermint ice cream. It is to DIE for. I absolutely adore it.

It isn't Christmas in my house without Wassail. It's this hot cider drink we make at my house, with spices, lemon juice, and pineapple juice. It's delicious, we always have it for Christmas Eve.

Every Christmas my gramma makes her super-yummy shortbread cookies. They've all got a red or green cherry in the middle, and they literally MELT in your mouth when you eat them.

...I wonder if we have any left?

I think it's gonna be le Buche de Noel.......I haven't made it yet but the recipes sounds like it'll be good...

until then...the red and green m&ms...c:

Ham, turkey, but I LOVE stuffing and cranberry sauce mixed. x3

Feral Fantom 12-30-2009 01:47 AM

My favorite foods from the holiday season are eggnog (nonalcoholic), mashed potatoes with gravy made from the broth of the baked ham, and gingerbread.

Mari Monn 12-30-2009 01:48 AM

D; I can't stand eggnog.

midnitemyst 12-30-2009 05:21 AM

Pumpkin spice lattes

Emo Teddy 12-30-2009 07:21 AM

mmmmmm pork crackling -drool-

ObsidianRose 12-30-2009 07:51 AM

Well, you did say Holiday! So I'll say eggnog. I LOVE it!

Also, I love pumpkin pie. ^^

Arechi 12-30-2009 08:20 AM

I would have to say the candy that my family usually makes around Christmas time called Captain Crunch balls. We haven't made any yet this year though it's still on our to do list. XD

BoomBoom 12-30-2009 09:28 AM

Ham stuff!

Oh and fruit cake topped with lotsa different nuts <3 So good, we don't make it though - it's usually store bought but I like it nonetheless.

hirokotan 12-30-2009 11:09 AM

I'm actually overstuffed on pumpkin pie, since we've had no less than nine of them in our house in the last two months. And cranberries make me sick, quite literally. But I could definitely stand to have more pumpkin cheesecake. We had one of those a few weeks ago, and they're so addictive (as are all cheesecakes).

`Haru 12-30-2009 11:25 AM

I'd have to say my holiday favorites are the cranberries and eggnog. ^__^

XxA_Wistful_InsanityxX 12-30-2009 08:24 PM

Eggnog..and cookies. God, I love cookies.

Clarise 12-30-2009 08:27 PM

This is trrrible, but my favorite thing is the Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes. I wait all year for those. I know they're just zebra cakes shaped like a triangle with red icing and sprinkles, but I swear, they taste different.

Kokihi 12-30-2009 09:38 PM

Kiss cookies!!!

The Dark Mirror 12-30-2009 09:44 PM

Two things and they're about all I'll eat at dinner for Turkey Day and Xmas: turkey stuffing and jelly cranberry sauce (not the kind with the berries still in, that makes me gag). And its about the only time of year I can eat either as my guy hates both. *cry*

Kiyo Trishna 12-30-2009 09:57 PM

Looking over theis thread...you guys are making me hungry. XD
Oh god eggnog.... -insert drool-

neko xoxox 12-30-2009 10:00 PM

bl4cksh4dow 12-31-2009 08:11 AM

I would say that my favorite holiday treat are the see's chocolate and the sugar cookies *u*

Sho-Shonojo 12-31-2009 04:33 PM

I have to have my cornbread stuffing or it is not the holidays. I could live on that stuff all year long.
