My family got the tree the weekend before Christmas and we kept it in the garage until 2 days before. We finally got it in and decorated just in time for the 25th but we usually keep it up for a week after New Years because we're too lazy to take it down xD
Put up a tree a few weeks ago and then it went tumbling down after a dog knocked it over so we put it up again, but now its down lol xD
I have a fake white christmas tree in storage. I didn't put it up, mainly because I was feeling lazy and unmotivated in that department.
It's tradition in my house to keep the tree up until at least January 1st. Ideally, it should come down on New Year's Day, but most times we're too lazy to get it down that day. :P
As of yet our Christmas tree is still standing. It's a white fake one, with a teal/onyx color scheme.
Ours will probably stay up for another 4 months. -w-
We use a fake tree because two people in my family are 1. allergic to pine, and 2. allergic to sap.
I put up the tree around mid-december and haven't taken it down yet. I love the lights. I always feel so sad taking the christmas trees down... |
no i didn't put a tree not even lights.... so this year was a bummer well not so much
No not yet. Ours is still up. The funny thing about our tree though, is that it's only decorated on top, because of our dog. He likes to play with the decorations unfortunately XD
Also, we normally have fake trees because my mom is really allergic to real ones. Which is kinda sad. Real ones smell so nice. |
No tree this year either. That's sad but less work in the long run, I guess.
Yea, real trees smell nice but fake ones are truly evergreen! i think they're pretty too. I see a lot of trees in the garbage after christmas and they're rotting and stuff. Kinda sad. :O |
Still up ^^
Our tree is still up but we'll probably be taking it down this weekend.
We didn't bother with one this year OR last year. They're really just too much trouble. Paying money for something that's going to leave a mess, then having to go through the trouble of actually disposing of it? No thanks.
I don't have a tree in my house this year, as we went to my aunts house in Colombia for the holidays. When we are at home though we usually keep our tree up until January 6th, which is the day of the 3 wise men, which is tradition in Colombia - and other Hispanic countries, possibly!
I didn't have a tree. I haven't had a tree for a few years now. We have two cats and three dogs in the house, so even if I wanted to put up a tree, they would probably just mess it up.
I don't even get presents from most people anymore, so we don't have anything to put under a tree. My mom just gives me money. |
we have a Christmas Bush! it has lights but not a lot of ornaments because they make the bush fall over.
We started taking down decorations right after Christmas. The tree itself was packed back up the day after.
ohh my Christmas tree ish adowable and shinyy^^we decided to make it all blue and silver this year and we found a bigg one to buy >.<.it took us some hours and alot of chairs to decorate it but it was worth it^^ we will keep it one mroe month i guess >:3
we didnt put one up this year :s
dunno whye |
Ours is still up, but we'll probably take it down tomorrow.
There's nothing more depressing than getting up on New Year's Day with a hangover and being greeted by a Christmas tree. It's like a reminder that the holiday season's over and tomorrow you're back at work. :( |
I got two trees!
One where I live, and one with my family. Theirs was big and real and they themed it all chocolate and gold colored! And this really pretty, dark purple or magenta color. My tree was teeny weeny and fake. But it did light up pretty colors! =3 |
it's still up. It's so small we don't think we'll take it down >.>
We didn't put up a Christmas tree this year, we just didn't feel like it.
