Ooh, scrambled eggs.
The first and last time I made them was almost a year ago now... The day of my SATs! :P I swear, those scrambled eggs were DELICIOUS! I blame them for my high scores. ;) |
we weren't allowed to have hotplates, they can cause fires
and idont' blame them, people couldn't even make microwave popcorn |
*Bum wiggle.*

/blink stare at mon
|
LOL.
I'm not a cook by any means, but I'm a god when it comes to microwaving! :) I just need to find someone who can cook for me... D: -whips Monstahh's bum with zee riding crop- ;o |
Eggs = Brain food? :) The fun of making scrambled eggs is experimenting with the herbs and spices you find in the cupboard. Well, not so much experimenting as mixing in whatever sounds like a good idea. (Hint: Cinnamon is probably not a good idea.)

LOL I wsas a culinary arts major :(
|
I tried to roast marshmallows with a lighter once. didn't work.
we can't have hot plates or candles. |

DELICOUSSSSSSSS |
LOL, XURXO! That's hilarious - people in your dorms couldn't cook, but they were culinary majors?
@Cica: I agree! That's actually what I did that day. :P We had this delicious Italian spices thing... I ended up putting in this yummy sundried tomato/other stuff one, and I think the rosemary one... |
Facade - <Moanz.> ;D
OMG. I LOVE SCRAMBLED EGGS. *drool* My favorite: Milk (I make all my scrambled eggs with milk actually, SOOOO GOOOD), Chopped Onions, Roast Turkey pieces, and CHEESE. :D Delicious!! |
No, xD I studied it after i left dorm life.
THANKFULLY when I was in dorms I was studying Education Smart but STUPID people |
@Facade and Xurxo: Both of those combinations sound amazing! I'm not a fan of turkey, though, so I probably wouldn't try Mon's. :p
Also, I like my scrambled eggs well done, which drives some people crazy, apparently. |
@Xurxo: Ooh, lol. :P
@Monstahh: Ooh, those sound good! :squee: To me, the telltale sign of awesome scrambled eggs is when they're lightly browned. If they're lightly browned, they're always delicious to me! |
like slightly browning, Cica xD?
|
Like slightly browning, yeah. Mom always thinks I overcook my eggs. XD
|
Back when I went to college, there were no such things as microwaves.
We had to cook our food in a popcorn popper. |
I LOVE the lightly browning, they're GREAT
|
&&At my school all the dorms have kitchens.
But my dorm is one of the biggest, and only has one kitchen. (Most of the other ones have a kitchen for each floor.) I mean in our kitchen, we have two of everything except sinks, but, the 2nd stove is broke and people steal things out the kitchen fridges...:/ Edit: I make my eggs lightly browned too. I hate watery eggs! NASTY. |
I agree completely, Xurxo! :D
@Jeanne: LOL! Wait, what? How do you cook bacon in a popcorn popper? :talk2hand: |
We didn't have kitchens.
They wanted us to eat in the cafeteria. blech... |
lol, Jeanne is old!!!!
I don't like eggs that much. they make me sick. |
One of my parents used to do the popcorn popper thing, Jeanne. For soup and stuff, I think. We still have that popcorn popper, too. To pop corn in. (It does still work.)
|
My dream school has this whole 'First Year Experience' philosophy, so if I end up going there next year, I get my own dorm my freshman year!
Which is great, because I need time to get to know people/get used to them before I let them in my sleeping space. :talk2hand: |
we have a popcorn popper too. I dont' know if it works
