Rei is bored and she is trying to get more gold, and get this torrent to download.

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 06:32 PM

I should also do a few Snake games while I'm posting.
I am quite a bit poorer now than I was!
`laughs`

Kazz 12-29-2009 06:36 PM

Rei Ann>
oh. I'm bored too.
I'm still trying to get a bunch of ingredients to get the items.
The glitch really caught me off.
I had cookies baking and they never gave me the item,
and just took the ingredients with them. D:

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 06:39 PM

Yes, that happened to me also, Kazz.
Now I have to work extra hard to make up the ingredients.

Kazz 12-29-2009 06:42 PM

GrannyJ>
mhmm. this really stinks. >A<
only a few more days to collect.
why do the new ones have to have ginger?

Talentless_Muse 12-29-2009 06:43 PM

I guess I was lucky then. I didn't lose any ingrdients when it bugged up and didn't give me an item. It was just like I never baked anything at all.

Heh. No pancakes for now. I'm just having a bowl of cereal. It's one of those that has the pieces of freze dried fruit in it.

Kazz 12-29-2009 06:44 PM

Talentless_Muse>
you are lucky, I lost ginger from it. D:
and awhiee. cereal's still good.

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 06:46 PM

Yes, I'm very low on ginger also.
I'm happy whenever the pantry give me a ginger.

Kazz 12-29-2009 06:50 PM

GrannyJ>
yes. I'm shocked whenever pantry gives me one.
why must ginger be so rare. ;A;

Kat Dakuu 12-29-2009 06:50 PM

good morning everyone, no its finally afternoon. I just played a game of cards that lasted a few hours. and now I want lunch, but the adults are in some secret meeting.

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 06:52 PM

Oh dear. I hope it isn't anything too serious, Kat.

Kazz 12-29-2009 06:55 PM

Kat Dakuu>
good afternoon to you too.

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 06:56 PM

I suppose I will leave for a few minute.
I must eat some lunch.

Talentless_Muse 12-29-2009 06:58 PM

It's good cereal. It's got the fruit as well as oats in it. Oats are really good to eat because of the fiber. The fiber is actually indigestible, but your body tries anyway, which makes it take longer to get through your system. That helps keep you feeling full for longer...and then there's what fiber does for you at the other end.

I'm trying to eat better. Even though I've lost 20+ pounds since MAy, I know that was mostly because of the medicine I take suppressing my appetite. I haven't been eating much better. If anything, I've been eating worse just from trying to keep up my calorie count to keep my weight from dropping too fast--there've been days where my caloric intake hasn't broken 1000.

Yeah. That was bad, but the stuff I was eating wasn't any good for me either. Just thinking about the crap I was putting in my system made me decide that I really needed to work to improve my diet.

So I'm sacrificing a bit in calories, but I'm pretty certain it'll do better for me in the long run. I've also been trying to incorporate vegetables into my diet more, which works out well since I live with a vegetarian and a vegan. They don't opose my omnivorous ways, but I can't just be rude and fill the fridge with meat that they're not going to eat anyway.

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 07:01 PM

What medicine is that, Muse?

Kazz 12-29-2009 07:02 PM

GrannyJ>
alrightie then.

Talentless_Muse>
awhiee. you've been losing a lot of weight?

Talentless_Muse 12-29-2009 07:25 PM

Vyvanse. It's primarily for ADD/ADHD. I never had the hyperactive, bouncing off the walls type, but I've known for a long time that I've had ADD. About a year ago, I just got fed up with it and the bad effect it was having on my schoolwork.

I finally got diagnosed and have been taking meds. My grades especially this past semester have reflected the difference they made.

I've actually lost 40+ pounds if I take the whole year into account. It's no wonder none of my old clothes fits anymore. I have pairs of pants that literally will not stay up on my hips.

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 07:26 PM

Hello, I'm back from my little lunch.

TerrenaAnimula 12-29-2009 07:34 PM

*let's muffins bake for yet another 5 more minutes*

Hello yall!

I wish theses muffins would hurry up and finish baking! I want to try them. They're Green Tea Muffins. It's from a recipe by Emilie Autumn. Except they're supposed to be vegan but I had to get regular vanilla yogurt instead of soy vanilla yogurt because Walmart doesn't sell soy yogurt. And my mom didn't want to go anywhere else when I went to the store with her so I could buy the ingredients I still needed to make them.

Talentless_Muse 12-29-2009 07:42 PM

Well, they're still vegetarian then. That's still pretty good.

I don't really understand the whole vegan thing. I understand vegetarian alright, and I can almost get behind it except for a couple of meat products that I just can't stand to abandon. Vegan, however, I just don't really get the appeal. Plus, it can be a kind of dangerous diet, actually.

Oh, yay! The pantry just gave me a ginger!

Kazz 12-29-2009 07:43 PM

Welcome back GrannyJ

GrannyJ 12-29-2009 07:50 PM

Thank you, Kazz.

Is it bad to eat regular yogurt if you are Vegan?
