@Rainbows: I've never been on Subeta, though I do remember Neopets. I felt accomplished for owning a Cybunny, lol.
Terrena: OKay, I never played it that much so I wouldn't know, that and it was years ago around when it was still somewhat new
lol. I now loathe Neopets. I liked it when I first joined like eight years I guess? Then it just turned into something like Gaia. All they want is money. And I hate their layout now. It isn't easy navigation at all!
I may go to Second Life and go dancing tonight at one of the clubs there
Yes, I am a bit distracted, so I do tend to disappear once in awhile.
I'm sorry. |
Hii people! What have I missed? I read something about a pillow slash arm and the MAC...
I have never been on Second Life. But I've had professors bring it up in class before. XD
@ terrena: I know! And there's parts of the site you can't even access without someone putting the link up because they blocked it off from the site navigation.
And hi again Granny and Sovie |
I think Neopets is only in it for the Cash shop and the merchandise, all they really update is the Cash shop with new items. It's really childish now. Gaia's the same way =|
Hi GrannyJ! Sovie as well =) What is Second Life? |
I have heard of Second Life.
My nephew told me that I should stay away from it. |
Second life, isn't that kind of like the sims? Hey, Will!
GrannyJ: I wonder why? Did he say?
I've played the Sims, and the Sims 2. It was fun, it kind of got boring after a while. Anyone ever played SimAnt? |
Second life, I thought that was more of an rpg/first person shooter/puzzel game?
William, yea, from what I noticed, that is really all they do. On Subeta, the mainly update the regular shops. The Cash Shop can be updated on random. But it isn't updated nearly as much as the regular shops. Plus on Subeta, it is really easy to get sp (the currency).
I believe he thought that people were not very nice on there.
@ William: I never owned the sims 2 but I had sims 1 with the makin' magic and pet expansions, now I have the sims 3 and it's been greatly improved
Every site needs some income other than advertisement, and Monthlies are good ways.. If necessary, small cash shops, but neopets and gaia go too far. D: |
I've noticed games seem to get worse as they get more players (or younger players) or, as time passes, inflation occurs and currency is really easy to earn but the items are really expensive.
GrannyJ: That's always a possibility, even with small communities. |

@ Granny: Yeah people can be nasty on there, but they can be on any game too
@ Rainbows: Yes, I think gaia started to go down hill when they made the cash shop with the evolving items. That was incredibly stupid. |
It was going downhill for a long time. =x It started going downhill within a year of being made.. I quit two years ago, I think.. At least, I quit being active- I still have my account, and I got an alruna's rose because it is the most lovely item I can ever think of~ I love purple and red x.x; |
I suppose that is true, but I have not come across any bad people here.
William, The owner of Subeta had to tweak the coding for the shops again this past month because some of the items were getting insanely expensive to where the same item was way cheaper in a usershop. But the code is that so the more an item is wanted, the higher the price goes up when bought. Oh, and I forgot about the monthly collectables on Subeta. XD
Well, yeah but it wasn't as fast or steep to them dieing, though inflation killed. I really hated it when they felt the need to tax us in the market place...
Yes, the tax thing in the marketplace on gaia was really lame.
