Oh dear, errors are not fun! D:

I'm currently cleaning up my watch list on ff.net. Everything that's complete is getting removed!

I like the sly humor that the book portrays much better than the overly done Darkness and Sex that the tv show focuses on at the expense of the humor. I mean, it's not like they took ALL the humor out, it's just overshadowed by things I can't let my son watch.

I haven't watched much of the show, did they ever get to Bubba? :XD

edit: and after it finally lets me post this, it now seems out of place... >.>'

Jezriel, I could have sworn you already posted that. Because I remember replying about Bubba.

Then I suppose I should just wait it out, and see what happens.
It seems to be all right now.

Yeah, I'm with you on this one. I'm highly particular about my vampires. I blame Anne Rice. I also remember it being HARD to find a vampire based book.

Nowadays they're a dime a dozen, better authors, worse plots. Hellsing is awesome.

Thanks, Nane. ^^

I've only read one Vampire Manga. That was Model. Only seven volumes. I really liked it. But I guess if you count the Dark Hunter series as a vampire series, then I've read volume one of the manga of that. Only volume one because volume two hasn't come out yet. XD

I'm such a girl when it comes to my reading, I prefer cutesy slice of life stuff and pretty magical girls. Especially when you involve ballet in either one. >.>

I'm afraid I don't venture too far outside of my "comfort" zone when it comes to reading.
I have my favorite authors, and tend to stay with them.

Oh my. I like violence in my books. And humour.

Granny, I tend to stick with my favorite authors as well. Or at least certain series they write.

I've always been quite a tomboy. Most girly stuff I just can't get into. There are a few exceptions. I've been known to read the occasional romance novel. I like the historical romances the best - IF the author bothers to do any research. If they didn't do research right and persist in doing things in a way that they simply weren't done in that time period, it just.... stretches the credibility of the story to the point I can't suspend disbelief and I can't read it.

Many years ago I used to read a few romance novels.
Kathleen Woodiwiss (sp), and a few others.

I'm afraid they just got too predictable for me.

I don't find romance novels that interesting... trashy stuff with weak plots mostly. The covers alone make me gag! D: I'm so immature... I read children's books. D:

I've only read two historical romances. One was labeled historical romance and its sequel was labeled as paranormal. XD It did contain vampires. XD Most of my books are romances or are books that could be put either in the romance section of the paranormal section of fiction. Then some are just in the paranormal fiction.

99% of all vampire books written are 'paranormal romance' no matter what section of the bookstore you find them in. :XD That's why I don't like most of them.

I USED to like LK Hamilton's vampire slayer series, until the main character started um, doing something else that starts with an S and ends with ING more vampires than she kills in any given book.

Haha! Yea. Although, it seems the series is starting to get back in the killing. Edward was in one of the newer ones. Actually, I think that was Skin Trade? Can't remember. But it had Edward, Olaf, and Bernardo in it again which made me happy. ^^

hello again everybody!

@jezriel: have you ever read the Christine Feehan Carpathian series? It's counted as paranormal romance but it's a pretty good twist on your average vampire story.

Ugh, Myers utterly RUINED the name Edward for vampires. -_-
