|
I'm here, but cleaning the room. xD
|
So how is everyone?
|
I'm good~! Kinda tired from work and then hookah, but good. How bout you?
|
-rolls into the thread-
How's everyone doing tonight? XD I'm doing alright. I'm just updating my LJ after an extremely long and eventful week of no updating. Unfortunately that means my entry is gonna be super long! o_O |
xD But sometimes a long entry is fun to write.
|
I agree! But they just take forever to write. XD
Plus when a lot happens, I don't have a lot of space to ramble and rant in. D: I don't like my entries to be novels, you know? |

That is true.. It feels like you write forever if its really long. xD
I try to keep them decently short, myself. But I also dont have LJ, I still use xanga. ^^ |
I never got into xanga. I mean, I've tried to use it when it was really popular, but it just confused the hell out of me. XD I remember everyone used to have a xanga, including my sister and her friends and my friends and their friends.
Then myspace came along and everyone left xanga. Then came facebook and now everyone is leaving myspace. I can't help but wonder if everyone will leave facebook for twitter. And then what comes after twitter? o_O I prefer sites made just for blogging. My first online journal was on this site like caleida or something. I used that for a year before discovering livejournal. I've been on and off livejournal since then. Now that I think of it, I guess xanga was made for blogging, but for some reason my mind still classifies it in the same category as facebook and myspace. o_O |
xD Prolly because it was such a popular site for the longest time. Well, one reason I'm still there is because I used to code layouts for xanga, and it got me into html and css, which I use for other sites now.
I never liked myspace. I have one, but I check it on average about twice a year, haha. I prefer facebook to myspace, but still dont use it that much, either. |
Yeah, myspace wasnt' the greatest. I liked the fact you could customize your layouts and stuff, but oh dear god, I was so terrified to go on other peoples pages since they'd always have the worst music playing. :gonk: And it would blast over my own horrible music and create this massive collision of bad sound that doesn't even qualify as music.
I like facebook a lot better. I'm on it like everyday now. XD |
Bah. I hated the fact that myspace was customizable. I mean.. Noone could code a decent layout. It was always a mess of random crap that lagged my computer, blinked, flashed, glittered, and generally turned into a pile of eyesore-mush on my screen. >> It really bugged me, after coming from xanga where the better profiles were loved.
|
'Timidians'? There's something I haven't heard before. :P
|
While I do agree that most of the layouts where absolute crap, I've seen some really pretty layouts. I think any website that offers customization will have crap layouts. Myspace just happened to have a large proportion of crap layouts because of the demographic who used it. >_>
And hello Kasumi! : ) |
Halloo.... How are you?
|
I'm really tired. xD As soon as I'm done updating my livejournal i'm going to bed. I'd be done by now but Menewsha keeps on distracting me. >w< Must collect ingredients!
How are you doing? |
Not too good, actually.
I'm deliberately looking for distractions. We had a friend's pet die today. My daughters and I were very close to him. |
Aww I'm sorry to hear that. : ( Losing a pet, or anyone or thing you're close to can be extremely devastating. I wish the best for your and your daughters, and your friend regarding this. <3
|
I suppose I'd qualify as being a Timidian :)
Hello! |
Thanks, KaciCake.
