Good Morning! :D I've been trying to figure out YoVille on facebook. Man, I need to quit with all of these games. :/

LOL. I'm to the point where I'm consciously ignoring all the games on facebook... I just can't deal with any more games *mind starts overheating at the thought*

I wish I did that... lol, I see something and I just start clicking. I'm gonna have to delete some of them though, there's too many things I should be doing.

I had a hard time finding this thread the second time around.:shock: So, how´s cooking going? Can you get what you want or do you just burn stuff?

I haven't burnt anything yet but baking has been a nightmare.

The first time I tried baking anything (after fighting with ingredients for quite a while before then), I burned something. Since then, I haven't. And the last time I tried to bake something (the latest recipe/item), I made it on the first try and actually didn't have to go through refresh hell for the ingredients!

Yeah, it's kinda stupid that it's possible to burn something at all, actually (at least IMO)... not like collecting ingredients, dealing with glitches, or even waiting and being patient for several minutes at a time to bake something is part of the event :roll:

I burn something at least half of the time when I try to bake on here.

I am sure that the Admin people put a lot of thought into this event, but it's a royal pain in the ass with the inconsistent baking and burning of items. Not enjoying that you can lose ingredients when you aren't able to be as active as some people.

*nodnod* Oh, I have no doubt that the burning, however slight the chance, is an attempt to keep the sheer numbers of sets down (ie: limit the hoarding of items), but yeah... slightly frustrating

What really bothers me is the series of glitches. Assuming that the coding was tested, there must have been some serious problem.

Yeah we seem to be having glitches with every event lately.

Does it have anything to do with using Flash for the events? Did the glitches start happening at about the same time?

*shrugs* Just curious... it's the old programmer / designer in me sneaking out. A lot of people think Flash is cool (and it is), but that doesn't always make it the *right* technology to use for something... and even if it is, like many things, it can be really easy to screw up (ie: glitches)...

I just want things to work correctly and not have to fight it to work. Was this stuff not tested before it was released to us?

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who is so frustrated. I'm waiting until the glitch is fixed to even attempt any baking.
