I see the high score and worry they will take the game down due to people cheating at it. That would really hurt my gold earning. I would go back to only having 100 gold and thinking I had a lot of money...

Well, 1k only equals 10 gold when you play Snake. I can almost make it to 2k, but I always fall short at 1.9k. D: 1.9k should get you 19 gold, not 10! I usually just stop every game around 1k.
I don't think they'll take down the game. Rather, they'd probably ban all the people who've been abusing it... Or if they do take down the game, it'd be to get someone to code it better. Skull-ush-ka. That's why I just ask people to call me Skully. I wonder if that name's already taken... |
I know right,it bugs me that he cheats and gloats and I worry. brand new, just out of the box computer and I already want more ram. Lucky for me i can upgrade this laptop to 2 whatevers of ram. I love everything about this net boook but the OS.

Snake is like some of these threads-just a bit too fast moving for me. I stick with tetris.

I think I am going to have to go soon too, I just saw the tijme,and have to go back to work after my christmas vacation, so I can not be all groggy and maen, form being up to late.

And hey guys! Sorry I poofed on all of you. XD I was trying to max out my daily 500 gold from the games. I got bored at around 340 gold or something...bah. D: I've only maxed out my gold once! Or maybe twice, I dunno. XD And Tetris can get rather fast moving too. o_O; The highest level I've ever gotten to was level 8 or so. |
I start my tetris on level 7 so I can get my score faster. You only have to hit 26000 to get your fifty gold.

I'm on a really old computer right now, so all I can really do is Snake. I've gotten 200 gold in 45 minutes of playing it. I feel ashamed for saying this, but I'm terrible at tetris.

I usually start at level 1 and work my way up. xD I always thought you'd get a higher score that way. o.o; I guess maybe I'm wrong? Hmm, I'll try starting it at level seven next time I play.

@kaci: I find it faster starting at a higher level. Oops, I said I started at seven-my mistake. I start at six. Once it hits seven, it begins to get out of hand for me, but by then I usually have my 26000 or pretty close to it. I can get my 500 gold in roughly a half hour. |
I got to level 9 and died. xD And got about 26 gold when I started at level seven. I'm gonna try starting at level six.
I probably would have gone a lot further if I didn't misplace a block by one square. D: It was a really bad spot to misplace a block too! |
I thought it was some weird universal rule that every guy should be epic at Tetris, at least if he's an old school gamer. :c I'm a severe old school gamer who fails at Tetris. I'm somehow good at bejeweled, though, and doesn't that game have the same concept?

@kaci: My strategy is to stack them up high except for one block to the side that I leave to wait for the long block. That gets dangerous if you get really high and that long one doesn't drop :lol:! But when you take out four rows at once you get about 7000 to your score. Level 6 seems pretty easy paced yet fast enough to move things along.
@skully: I haven't played bejeweled in a long time, but I really like that game as well. |
I wish Mene had Bejeweled... It'd make my arcade maxing process far easier.

Gahh Bejeweled! I love that game! <33 I haven't played that game for so long. Oddly enough, I was just thinking something along the lines of "Hmm, Menewsha should add something like Bejeweled to the arcade!" No joke. o_O
And yeah, that's usually what I do. But I generally get impatient waiting for the long block to drop and start getting rid of all my rows. xD I should try being more patient. |
