My hair turned purple once.
I was going for mahogany....a dark red/brown...

Rain; Well, it was suppose to be red. :B 'Suppose' being the operative word. It actually turned out bright strawberry pink and lasted six months. XD

... LOL.
This is why I will not dye my own hair. I ponder what would happen if I bleached it though.

The key to dying your hair is always expecting it to turn out your least favorite colour and not hoping for anything better than your hair falling out. 8D

lol...when I was a kid we had an above ground swimming pool in the backyard.
The next door neighbor girl came and jumped in. When she came up she had green hair!

Guess my Dad had a bit too much chlorine in the pool.

I've never seen that happen. @[email protected] Everyone says that it's really easy to have green hair from swimming pools when you're blonde, but I've never ever seen it.

I think that it happened more in the old days when bleached hair was done with more ammonia?

Most stuff doesn't have ammonia in it anymore...
