Yay!

I am going to go play the arcade game until I get my 500 for today. XP

I might restart my picture. XD My airbrush completely effed it up. : ( So I'll have to reink it and find some other way to color the background.

If using watercolors, just use a wet-on-wet technique with a little bit o' salt and do touch ups and details once that dries, that seems to work well for backgrounds. But that is just how I do it- or rather avoid doing backgrounds. XD

I'm one of those people who must do a background, because if I don't, I feel like I"m just wasting paper. XD Even though I know that's not true!

I'm using marker for this particular piece. I have a marker airbrush, but it majorly sucks, or I'm just too dumb to figure it out. XD

Though I might do watercolor. That way I can completely cut out inking all together. I hate inking with a passion.

Inking can be quite annoying, especially when you have those thick lines created accidentally that now must be integrated into the picture. >.< Hate it when that happens!

I'm pretty good with controlling the pressure of my pen, but I tend to be a bit absent minded and smear the ink with my elbows before it dries! >w<;

I love watercolor and marker, my two favorite mediums to work with! : ) But I only like brush tip markers.

I have something that runs in my family... Benign Familial Tremor. My hands shake and it will only worsen with age. This is part of the reason why I avoid backgrounds like the plague and don't draw settings... And typically don't even create a drawing but rather a sketch. (Ok, that last one is half just my laziness. XD )

I don't blame you, brush tip markers have such clear fluid lines, like a wet watercolor brush. :3

That really sucks. : ( I have something like that with my legs, only it's a side affect of my medication. It's called akathisia and I get it because of my medicine. If I don't move my legs, they twitch like crazy because it feels like my muscles are spazzing out. o_O; Like, I can feel them pulling and twitching and eugh. So now I'm on more medicine to combat that. =w=

Well, the Benign Familial Tremor affects everything, but is most evident in the hands. >.<

Medicine= Sucks. I hate taking medicine and avoid it like the plague... Is it me or do medicines have more repercussions verses cures now a days?

I hate taking medicine too. Right now I'm on antidepressants and anti-psychotics, and it drives me insane knowing that's the only thing keeping me stable. :/ But I guess I'd rather take medicines and deal with the side affects than wind up in a hospital again. o_0;

I can understand that. Avoid hospitals at all costs! They are horrid.

When I was younger, I used to paint a lot. Nothing too artistic, mind you. I do have a fond memory of accidentally using my mom's drinking water to wash my brushes in... Luckily, I warned her before she drank. XD

XD Aw, she could have turned her mouth colors, just like with pixie sticks!

Man, it is burning up in this room... Damn humidifier!

I painted a lot when I was little with crayola or something. XD Now I still paint a lot. o.o I still draw a lot too.
