@Parody Mule- you might do well. I'm nervous, never done an auction before. I'll most likely get out bid too. ;^^ But it's fun to try because you never know till you do.

I'd totally bid all of the money on my main and on this account if I wasn't running 2 contests, hadn't just commissioned art from 3 other artists, and wasn't bidding on stuff in the giving back auction.

Well one of my contests just started today, and the other has been in the works since Halloween but finally starts after this event ends (I hope, it's been pushed back for so many reasons @[email protected]), and the giving back auction is pretty slow for me since I'm not bidding on a crown. *shrug*

I'm doing a Parody Contest where I'm asking users to dress up as NPC's on New Year's Day after a hard night of partying and way too much eggnogg >_>

And then my normal contest will have challenges somewhat similar to that (though, in that one contestants will be given one specific NPC or Mene staff member to parody, and a more specific theme to follow).

Coool. I don't know who all the NPCs are. . . is there a place I can find them all?

Yes, EI's are the ones you bake. Event commons are the ones found in the event store.

Event Items are the ones baked (the danglies, reindeer disguise, etc.) and commons are the items that are in the Event store (common = common item)

I haven't heard of any other NPC's that interact with users yet. I've seen Jeryck but I don't know if he actually talks to users or not.

Since the beginning of October. I talked to all of those NPCs (except Magnus) during the Halloween event.

Will there be another auction soon after this one, or will it be a while until the next one?

Oh wow, you started about the same time I did. I wasn't as involved in the Halloween one but I'm really getting into this winter one.

I know Jeryck, Li Mei, Tesel, and Aimee do come out every so often for Events-- finding them is the hard part. XD

I pretty much stuck to the Assassins thread and stalked the NPCs when I saw them on xD

They showed up in Mr. Mayor's thread for the most part, but now there's like... four of those. So I'm not sure how they're moving around for this event.

Depends a lot on what other projects I have to get done and what kind of social life I want for New Year's. XD I'm not comfortable setting a concrete time just yet. The next one will definitely be open for a longer period of time, though. :3
