I never took any AP class in high school. It turns out you do less work in an actual college history class then you do in an AP history high school class. I know because my advisory teacher (essentially it was homeroom) was the AP teacher for one of the history classes so we got the heads up on some of the stuff. They did more work in that class than in both of my history classes I've had in college combined. I also had a friends in various AP classes and they hated it because of all the work you had to do.

lol yeah? wow... xD well that AP Euro class was fun for a while because the teacher was all energetic and such until ... well... the time came around when everybody felt swamped with reading 20 pages of homework, especially if they say.. forgot their homework and had to do two or three nights worth. Omg it was so bad the time I forgot to bring my textbook home over the weekend o.o" I turned into a crazy reading zombie at school so I wouldn't get in trouble and be lost. And then there was the essay on all of the philosophes mentioned in the Enlightenment. Oh. Em. Gee. XD That's all I have to say lol.

What the lectures were for my West. Civ. class wasn't even what was in the book. He got his stuff from various books and textbooks. The man is great and he will tell you something point blank. He even has weaponry in his office. XD And we would watch movies sometimes or parts of them. We even watched parts of Rome. We did watch documentaries as well. But for out of class, all we had to do was read the chapters and do the quizzes when they were due. So we had time to do them and space them out. So all we had was the 3 or for tests we had (that included the final) and then the quizzes. And the quizzes were open book.

We'd even get some extra credit once in a while where all it was to go to a presentation and get something signed or email him and answer to a question he asked in class and whoever emailed him with the correct answer got extra credit and you could email him as many times as you liked as well with a different answer.

Yeah. Why do naps have to mess with sleeping habits! And then it doesn't help when you can't fall asleep because then you just end up sleeping in really late the next day if yo don't have to be anywhere.

my bf has never been on a plane too! i havent flown in a long time, but i used to travel a bunch when i was younger.

I've only been on a train twice. But then that train was a scenic train. It was the Cass Scenic Railroad in Cass, West Virginia. I would love to do that in the fall when all the leaves have changed. But my dad won't take me then because there are "too many people."

lol the only plane trip I went on was 12 hours to and from Japan

I've never changed time zones. XD
