eek boo to losing power >< I've really only experienced that a few times, each time has been hideous :(
Oh, I think I may have overstated it slightly to say that I *loved* laundry.
But I really don't mind doing it. There is something about the clean smell that I really like. |
Clean smells are good.
*hangs head* Drat. And here I thought I would get out of folding it. I hate that part the most.
hehe i don't mind folding my own laundry or even doing it. its just finding a time that i can do the laundry is the hard part.
I think I'll be heading off to bed now
goodnight all! |
*scoots a small chunk of her unfolded laundry at Aisha and gins hopefully*
Good night Star. Sweet dreams. |
good night star :)
Laundry scares me >.> I'm gonna be doing it for the first time on my own sometime in the next few days. I hope I don't destroy my clothes. |
All I can tell you is READ THE LABEL! there have been so many shirts that I shrunk because I didn't read the care instructions. I'm a label reading fiend these days.
starts to fold jelly's laundry "you should be fine. if nothing else wash everything on warm warm and then dry or hang to dry. also readiing the labels would help."
*stares at Aisha in wonder* I think I'm in love. Someone else is folding my laundry for me. *sits down and helps to fold her stuff*
Jellybean ~ it's been beaten into me 'cold gentle' so I know that much. Can't shrink much when you don't give ith e chance to, and cold watch cleans just as well as hot water... also less fading \o/
hehe its nothing for me to help others fold their laundry. i've done it for gary's cousin family before. nothing too major.
It's not the water temp you have to worry about, it's the dyer.
I also got the "cold water only" thing beat into my head. My Mom always told me that it cleans just as well, and uses less energy. And I don't see the point in wasting my warm or hot water on my clothes when I can take a nice hot bath instead. xD |
I think a part of it is that I love my laundry room.
It has a window in it, and it always feels so cheery in there. |
Our laundry room is constantly muggy. And it used to be the outside of the house until the previous owners decided to turn it into an extra room for the washer and dryer I'm guessing. There is actually and outdoor light by the wall and a doorbell. >.<
we don't have a laundry room... we have an um... grey water thingy? It's one of those green clothing washers, using rainwater. I've never used one before, and I'm kind of terrified of it >< I might just go down to the laundromat down the street >.>
I have never heard of one of those? Huh....has anyone used it before? I would be terrified of it too.
that sounds terrifying wrenja. i would go down to the laundrymat also.
The laundromat isn't that bad. Just take something to occupy your mind while you wait.
yeah I'd never seen one before, it's strange. I'm concerned about it actually getting things clean, but I guess I'll try it once, and then decide? I dunno I'MSCARED ><
I don't believe I've seen one of those, Wrenja.
I went and played some games, but now I am back, until I go to play more games again.
@Wrenja: Wash something that you don't mind losing? or something where it's not going to kill you if it gets little bit mangled? Like towels.
Welcome back Rad. |
Jellybean~ Yeah, I suppose that's how it will go. If not, the laundromat is less than a ten minute bus ride.
