Job hunting is tricky...LIKE THESES OVENS!
*shakes fist at job hunting and the ovens*

I will be job hunting again when I move, as of now I get to quit mid Feb, YAY!

Scarlette 12-28-2009 02:21 PM

My stove is sadly neglected I rather work in a Cauldron. >.> and I bet it heard that. >.>

Star Valo 12-28-2009 02:22 PM

lol xD
cauldrons are probably more reliable than these ovens anyway

Liunesta 12-28-2009 02:22 PM

*nods head*
I agree.

HamatoKameko 12-28-2009 02:23 PM

That's awful, Liunesta. I did a lot of battling for my benefits and it still was too little too late; I ended up losing my apartment and living in my car in Texas summer heat (I am extremely heat sensitive) while trying to sort out my health troubles. Some days I was too sick to even get out of my car more than to go in some place (usually Wal-Mart, since I lived in their parking lot most of the time) to go to the bathroom. Ultimately, after a fight with my parents, I went up north to stay with friends in Pennsylvania for a few months. Now I'm in California with a friend. Been hear since late February/early March. For the most part, I've quite enjoyed my time in California, and I think I may live here for some years to come. :)

I am glad it sorta worked out. I hate the system when it does things like that. It takes way too long to get them to act for those who need it to. They denied my step dad 3 times before they finally said, "okay"
My mom will have surgery soon and hopefully will be back to work.

HamatoKameko 12-28-2009 02:28 PM

I hope things work out for your parents. :)

I still have to go into the Social Security office about once a month to sort out one thing or another. It's a headache. XP But I'm finally seeing doctors and while my mental health docs and I need to have another long talk (I told them I'm chemically dependent on this med they're taking me off of, and they won't listen), at least progress is finally being made. I look forward to having my own place again.

Liunesta 12-28-2009 02:30 PM

Yes, having your own place is SO nice! I share my house with my husband lol, and my cat, but it's okay I like them most of the time. ;)

Jeanie 12-28-2009 02:33 PM

Really getting irritated by this failing crap with the ovens. It takes about 3 hours to get the stupid thing to actually work and I have to wait four minutes for fail. ¬_¬

Scarlette 12-28-2009 02:33 PM

Wow thats alot of stuff to be going on for all of you. Disability tends to deny people 3 times, and than give them the help they need. I don't know why they do that. I lived in New Orleans, most my life until the flood. Lost everything during that. Except my pet mouse. We are doing okay now but its so hard to rebuild when what I lost was my memories. My photo albums and sketch books. But I am just glad to not have lost my pet.

Liunesta 12-28-2009 02:34 PM

@Jeanie-I feel your pain. I was trying to wait for the Mayor to give us the okay but I just couldn't, only got it to work once though.

HamatoKameko 12-28-2009 02:34 PM

Well I look forward to having cats and at least one dog of my own, too. I have six betta fish, and a dwarf frog, but they're kind of hard to cuddle and don't really scare off bad guys. I want an Anatolian Shepherd, a huge blonde (usually) dog that my parents breed, as a companion dog, so when I'm as sick as I am now and helpless, I don't have to fear intruders and such as much. :) Plus they're truly lovely dogs. :3

Liunesta 12-28-2009 02:35 PM

One day I want a dog, until then I will keep my mini urban tiger.

Jeanie 12-28-2009 02:39 PM

Ok, failed twice now. I think steam is going to come out my ears soon.

Scarlette 12-28-2009 02:40 PM

I have a kitten that was a refugee from the floods (now just a small cat) and my mouse Sebbie. And surprisingly my cat does not try to eat my mouse, because my mouse bit my kitten on the nose when he was little and asserted dominance. Now thats a really messed up relationship.

Liunesta 12-28-2009 02:41 PM

@jeanie-noooo! It's ok! It will work, I am sure they will post it when it is suppose to be working again...if it EVER worked lol. Have faith in our Mene team! :D

Star Valo 12-28-2009 02:44 PM

~dances a little as it is the ballroom and she's missed the conversation~

azurekit3 12-28-2009 02:45 PM

Just don't surf other mene pages while cooking something, that's what I do.

Scarlette 12-28-2009 02:45 PM

Yes, yes they can do it, it will work eventually. I am sure they won't end the event until people has a chance to make all there items. Everyone here seems so nice and helpful!

azurekit3 12-28-2009 02:49 PM

Urgh... I need ginger!

Jeanie 12-28-2009 02:49 PM

That's what I do I don't do anything while it's cooking just sit here. ¬_¬

*slides around the floor on her bum*

Liunesta 12-28-2009 02:49 PM

They better not end it! *dances out of the ballroom and in to the garden and waltz home humming dance tunes*

azurekit3 12-28-2009 02:51 PM

*goes into a mute emotion and crawls on the walls up to the ceiling and sits on the ceiling, then begins to play solitaire again*

Liunesta 12-28-2009 02:52 PM

Tasty Giner, I have 1 too many, wish i could give it out.
