It's getting a bit crazy in here! This is where people are meant to come to calm down! *giggles*

Flish 12-30-2009 02:17 AM

Mew! *bounds forward, snags the twilight series* I shall mediate! Let the Meyers books be destroyed, but after that no more? please?

Grimnir 12-30-2009 02:17 AM

Thank you Miss. *takes cup and sips* Ah, wonderful.
Although I don't think this tearing of books is all that good.
*looks over at azure and Saiyana*

Saiyana2 12-30-2009 02:17 AM

"hello there" still watching Soul warily

Vicktoria Valentine 12-30-2009 02:17 AM

I don't think we have this "Twilight" series that you speak of on Menewsha *shakes head*

Oh I do think everyone is just excited, because of all the baked goods they've been making.

Grimnir 12-30-2009 02:18 AM

*glances at Vicky* I believe it's a foreign book. It's quite popular in the USofA.

azurekit3 12-30-2009 02:18 AM

*sniffs* Awww man... Fine... *goes and sits on the ceiling* I think Sea-Salt Ice Cream will help...

Flish 12-30-2009 02:19 AM

*perks* ... I love Menewsha... <3 *bounds back to Vicky's lap and purrs loudly* <3333

Saiyana2 12-30-2009 02:19 AM

"Hello Vicktoria I thought I'd try to keep the Mayor's books in order for him since he so graciously opened his library to everyone." Snags the twilight books form Flish "No books will be destroyed!"

Rei Ann 12-30-2009 02:20 AM

*sits down and starts reading* Oh I simply love reading, what book is everyone here currently trying to read, in their spare time?

Grimnir 12-30-2009 02:20 AM

@Rei Ann: I'm currently reading The Spell Book of Listen Taylor. It's quite good. *is almost finished with it*

Flish 12-30-2009 02:21 AM

@Rei: When I'm not visiting Mene, I'm reading some lovelies by Mercedes Lackey. <3

azurekit3 12-30-2009 02:22 AM

I'm currently reading about Necromancy. :P

Saiyana2 12-30-2009 02:22 AM

I do like Mercedes books which ones are you reading Flish?

Rei Ann 12-30-2009 02:22 AM

Flish - What is your book about?
Grimnir- What is the book about?

Vicktoria Valentine 12-30-2009 02:23 AM

I spend most of my time reading cookery books >.< Lots of people buy them for me now, I especially like old ones! I have them on shelves on either side of my fat little red stove in my living room, they look nice :3

Saiyana2 12-30-2009 02:23 AM

I just finished reading the Dragonology novel The Dragon's Eye and my sister gave me the Dragonology book that goes with it.

Cardinal Biggles 12-30-2009 02:24 AM

@ Rei: I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Mary Stewart's "The Ivy Tree"
(ordered on amazon just before christmas)

Which one the act of raising the dead, or the actually religion?

@ Vicktoria- Yes, cook books, are lovely, I'm sure you would love to read some of my friends old cookbooks. My church even made a cook book, once.

Saiyana2 12-30-2009 02:25 AM

Oh Vicktoria I have two shelves filled with cookbooks. I love finding new recipes to try

Vicktoria Valentine 12-30-2009 02:28 AM

Looking through cookbooks always makes me hungry though D: even if I've just eaten! >.<

Grimnir 12-30-2009 02:28 AM

@Rei Ann: Well...it's best not to tell really. But it's basically about a girl named Listen Taylor who is trying to find out what the Zing family secret is. I really enjoy mostly cause of how the event's aren't exactly placed in the right order and there are multiple viewpoints. ^_^
It's from one of my favorite authors. Jaclyn Moriarty. Another good book of hers is The Year of The Secret Assignments.

@Miss Valentine: I adore cookbooks. I love the pictures in most. Although whenever I make a recipe from one, it's not always similar to the recipe itself. *smiles, thinking about cooking something*

Saiyana2 12-30-2009 02:29 AM

I have a compilation of 18th century recipes. Right now though I am playing around with oriental recipes

Rei Ann 12-30-2009 02:31 AM

Grimnir- Ah I see, not very telling, though, doesn't spark my interest either. I'm lame, I know.

Vicktoria- Really they make you hungry, oh dear. Oh I simply love baking cook books, my friend and I we use them to make yummy pies, oh speaking of, I should get her to bake with me soon. That candy love holiday is a coming, and me and my single friends could use some sugar cheer.

*giggles, from possible plans*
