so being the patient awesome person I am. I simply asked him to explain it. and instead of explaining it how a normal human being should explain something to another who doesn't understand. He made a bunch of comments that amounted him to basically calling me stupid for not getting the hilarious joke about a reference I don't know.

I've always had to rely on getting a PM or a profile comment from someone saying I need to check my trades.
